Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows when the bright sunrays came in contact with his eyelids. He turned his head to the side but that didn't help at all as his sleep was already disturbed. He groaned as he sat up on the couch. He held the trapezius region between his neck and shoulder as he groaned at the pain which was the result of sleeping in an uncomfortable position. He yawned as he rubbed his eyes in order to clear his vision. After a minute or two, he realized that he had a blanket on his body but he clearly remembered not taking one before going to sleep. He looked around and saw all of his hyungs sitting there on different sofas, too engrossed in their phones to notice that the younger has woken up.

"Hyung?", Jungkook called out in his deep and raspy morning voice, gaining the attention of the older boys as they all gazed at his direction. "Oh!, Jungkook-ah , you're awake. Finally! You were going to blast my ears with your helicopter-like snoring", Jin pulled his leg making the said boy roll his eyes playfully. " By the way, why were you sleeping on the couch and not in your baby's room", Jimin asked, imitating the way Jungkook calls Chun-ja 'baby'. Jungkook stared at him for a moment as yesterday's memories came rushing through his mind. He let out a defeated sigh before shaking his head subtly. He stood up from his place as he said," I'll prepare the breakfast after freshening up." With this being said, he left the family-room and went towards his own room.

After getting ready and preparing the breakfast, Jungkook decided to check on Chun-ja if she was still sleeping. If so, then he has to wake her up as she had school today. After all, even if their relationship was a bit down nowadays but still he can't run away from his elder-brotherly duties. Once he reached in front of her room's door. He took a deep breath assuring himself that it was okay and she was going to be okay today.
He slowly twisted the door's knob expecting Chun-ja to be sleeping in a baby-like position but instead he was met with the sight of the Chun-ja sitting on the bed in her school uniform using her phone. She looked up from her phone on hearing the door open but soon she rolled her eyes on registering Jungkook's presence. Jungkook sighed on seeing this because the knew that the sky was grey again.

" Baby, breakfast is-", Jungkook was cut off by Chun-ja who said, " I know. I am coming." Jungkook nodded as he turned on his heels and went towards the dining area as he joined the other boys who were already there eating Jungkook's hand made glazed potatoes. Jungkook quietly joined them without uttering a word unlike his usual self when he would always taunt Jimin to eat more in order to gain some height and so on. They all shared an eye contact, visually asking if anyone knew why the cheerful bunny was so down today but seems like no one had the answer. " Kookie-ah, look this malnutrition-ed mealie over here ( pointing at Jimin) is not eating his food again. ", Taehyung joked in order to lighten his mood but Jungkook paid no attention as he mumbled ," Hyung , I am not in the mood." The others looked at him confused as well as concerned on sensing the sadness in his voice. " What happened, Jungkookie?" Yoongi asked concerned. Yoongi was usually not the one the show his care but everyone knows that how much he cares. The other boys concluded that Jungkook was really going through some dipshit which was why Suga himself showed concern through his words. " It's nothing, Hyung" Jungkook mumbled taking his food's bite in order to avoid answering any further questions.

J-hope was about to ask him something but stopped on Chun-ja's arrival who quietly took her seat near Namjoon and in front of Jungkook. Jungkook didn't say anything as he knew how she was going to reply so, he focused on his own food. Chun-ja silently took the bowl of veg ttaebokki which Jungkook made only for her as according to her it gives her some courage to attend school.

As soon as Chun-ja took first bite of her food, she pushed it away towards Jungkook harshly and remarked, " What is this? You know that I can't tolerate spicy food yet you have bombarded this with so much chilli powder. I am not eating this trash." Jungkook being the senti guy he is when it comes to Chun-ja, didn't care about her harsh words but instead he passed her some water hurriedly as he spoke, " Drink this, baby. I am sorry if it's that spicy but... I checked it after cooking and it was perfectly fine-" Jungkook couldn't finish his sentence as Chun-ja spat angrily, " Are you trying to say that I am lying?" Jungkook was about to say something but Taehyung beat him to it as he spoke in a deep, serious voice unlike his usual self , "What is this way to talk to him, Chun-ja? He is older than you. It could've been a mistake but you are making a scene as if he has done it on purpose." Chun-ja glared at him but Taehyung returned the glare with the same intensity. Jungkook was like his little brother and now Chun-ja too was like a little sister to him. As an elder brother, he felt the urge to correct and scold her where she was wrong. Taehyung had accepted her as his sister by heart but Chun-ja.... It wasn't the same with her. She hadn't accepted any of them. So, she felt as if Taehyung, an 'outsider', was jumping in their personal matter.
