He eventually calmed down as he pulled away from her but still held her hands tightly as if she would run away the moment he released her hands.
"Noona... I know, you want to ask many questions and I am ready to answer.", Jeongguk spoke softly as he looked at her with an innocent gaze.
"Yeah. I have many questions but first I want you to tell me everything... Okay?", Chun-ja asked him.
"Okay, noona.", Jeongguk nodded like a kid before he wiped the leftover tears and stood up. He sat near Chun-ja, still not releasing her hands.
"So, actually......"
⎯⎯
Jeongguk heaved out a huge sigh after he finished narrating everything, telling Chun-ja each and everything truthfully.
He looked at Chun-ja, expecting a reaction but all he got in return was a blank stare from her, scaring him in the process.
He gulped when she didn't say anything. Her silence was way scarier than her scoldings.
After almost five minutes, she thankfully broke the silence as she spoke,
"So, Oppa didn't commit suicide?"
"No..."
Chun-ja became silent again. All these years, she thought that he had taken his life but... he had actually sacrificed himself to save the earth.
She sighed softly as she ran her tongue over her lower lip before she spoke again,
"So, Ye-ji unnie was a Vampire princess?"
"Yes...."
Chun-ja chuckled sarcastically before remarking, " and they didn't even tell me..."
"Don't be mad at them, noona. Mom didn't want you to push her away. You were just like her younger sister.", Jeongguk spoke softly and politely.
Chun-ja sighed after hearing him. He wasn't wrong. She would have definitely pushed Ye-ji away if she had come to know that she was a vampire. She nodded slowly, understanding the younger boy's point.
"So... You are a half-demon and half vampire.", She questioned further.
"Yes...", Jeongguk softly whispered before he quickly brought her hand to his chest as he abruptly spoke, " but I won't harm you, noona. Please don't be scared of me. I really love you very, very much. No need to be scared of me."
He clarified his side, not wanting her to freak out again.
A wave of guilt washed over Chun-ja when she heard him. Poor baby... He was scared....scared that she would leave him or hate him.
