A sigh escaped Jeongguk's lips before he adjusted his glasses and entered the school hallway leading to his class. He hung his head low when he walked past other classes, as the students started whispering and laughing when they saw him.

Well, it was not a new thing for him. No one wanted to be his friend. No one wanted to talk to him. He was a loner. He was the student who didn't do anything but still, got bullied by almost everyone. The students would say mean things to him but he would just stand there with his head hung low. He was an innocent boy and it was what the bullies took advantage of.

As soon as he entered the classroom, the class quietened down before a loud roar of laughter filled the room. Not a merry kind of laughter but it was more of a mocking one.

Jeongguk didn't say anything as he quietly sat down on his seat and took out his book from his bag. He tried to focus on the text but his attention got diverted when he felt something hit the back of his hand. He frowned as he turned around and looked at the floor, only to see a paper ball lying there.

Following that, a student yelled, "oh, look! The nerd is here!"

The students chuckled mockingly before all of them followed his lead as they started making fun of the poor teenager.

"He is that useless thing."

" He doesn't even have a friend."

"No one likes him."

" He is always studying. Such a boring person."

"Sucks to be him."

" I don't even like his existence."

" I hope that he would die someday."

Jeongguk gulped as he tried hard to block those words from reaching his eardrums. He tried to concentrate on the book but his vision had got blurry due to the accumulation of tears. Well, it was the reason why he didn't feel like going to school. He didn't know what was his mistake that everyone hated him. He just minded his own business but still, everyone seemed interested in bothering him.

He softly wiped his tears with his hand before concentrating on his books again. It happened every day and he knew that he wouldn't be able to stop it. All he could do what sigh and hope that something would happen that would change his life. He wanted a miracle to happen as soon as possible. As soon as after a month, next week, tomorrow or.... or even today.

He heaved out a deep sigh, not wanting to continue crying. Well, he was going through this since middle school but he never told Chun-ja. It wasn't like Chun-ja wouldn't support him or anything but being a mature kid, he knew how hard it was for Chun-ja to take care of him. He didn't want to go to her and cry like a pathetic bitch just because some students had bullied him.
