" It's ok-". Jungkook couldn't complete his sentence as he was cut off by a very familiar voice, " It's not okay."
Jungkook, Rang and Chun-ja snapped their head towards the source of the voice and were met with the sight of Yeonjun sitting on the arm of the couch on which both the siblings were sitting.
Yeonjun diverted his gaze from Rang as he glanced at Chun-ja. Soon, his lips curled up in a cute smile as he waved at his best friend.
Chun-ja simply looked at him with a shocked look, confused as to how he appeared out of nowhere. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard Jungkook's voice, "Why is it not okay?"
"Well..", Yeonjun glanced at Rang with a mischievous smirk before he diverted his gaze towards Jungkook and continued, "This white-winged mosquito has troubled you so much, Hyung. Are you going to forgive him like that only? Like c'mon just punish him already."
Yeonjun crossed his arms over his chest as he glared at Rang who returned the glare as he muttered under his breath, "Traitor."
Jungkook chuckled softly at the younger's dramatic attitude. Shaking his head, he spoke, "It's okay, Yeonjun. He wasn't aware of the truth."
"B-but, he-" Yeonjun tried to argue back but sighed as he finally gave up and muttered a 'fine'.
All of them sat there in silence somewhat relieved that the truth was out now and everything was settled. The misunderstandings were sorted out and all the questions were answered- WAIT! Not all the questions. One question was yet to be answered. As soon as that question came to Chun-ja's mind, she snapped her head towards Jungkook as she voiced out, "Oppa?"
"Hmm?"
"Why are you not mad at Yeonjun? Why are guys behaving as if nothing had happened?"
Jungkook as well as Yeonjun frowned at her question as they shared eye contact before glancing at the girl.
"Baby, why would I be mad at him?" Jungkook enquired.
Chun-ja slowly glanced at Yeonjun who was staring at her with a confused gaze, before she turned back to Jungkook and asked in a small, reluctant voice,
" 'cause he was the one who shot you...."
It was then that it hit Rang too. His eyes widened in realisation as he spoke up, "Yeah. She's right. How are you both so chill about it? Besides, tell me exactly, on whose side are you, Yeonjun? You shot Jungkook hyung and saved Chun-ja at that time but this time you betrayed us and saved Jungkook hyung?"
Yeonjun stared at him and then at Chun-ja who was equally confused before he glanced at Jungkook. The corner of his lips curled up in a smirk as Jungkook returned the gesture. Jungkook diverted his gaze from Yeonjun as he spoke, "Well, the thing is that he was always on my side and... I was the one who commanded him to shoot me."
