27. My Man.

That night

Lindsey's room

Covering her lips in a thick coat of lipstick, Lindsey pressed them together, rubbing them with each other before she glanced at her reflection in the mirror and smirked on seeing her beauty.

" Ah, this beauty of mine. No one can resist me. Not even...... Jungkook. Just a few more days and I'll make him fall for me. He-"

Lindsey got cut off when a velvety female voice echoed through the room, filling each and every corner,

" Tch.. tch...tch .... Trying to make my man fall for you, hm? Well, lemme tell you that it's a bad idea. A very bad idea."

Lindsey furrowed her eyebrows on hearing the voice but soon her gaze hardened as she abruptly stood up from the stool in front of the mirror and turned around. She looked around the room to find the source of the voice but didn't find any.

"Who are you?" She spoke in a firm tone as her eyes scanned the room simultaneously.

" You already know me, babes." She heard someone's whisper right near her ear.

She flinched back as she looked towards the direction from which she had just heard the whisper but again saw no one.

Now, this was starting to freak her out. She gulped down as she mustered up her draining away courage and tried to speak in a threatening tone,

"Who the hell are you and.. where are you? Show yourself, you coward!"

She heard the voice chuckling before it spoke,
" Well if you are so desperate to see me then turn around, Lindsey."

She immediately turned around on hearing the voice but as soon as she did so her eyes almost popped out of their sockets. Following behind, a wave of fear arose in her body as soon as the person's face came into her sight.

"Y-you?", she stuttered and stumbled back due to fear.

The anonymous female took a step forward as she chuckled seeing her state.

" Well, well.. Looks like you recognized me.. " she chuckled.

"V-vampire princess?" Lindsey stuttered as she acknowledged the danger in which she was.

The female chuckled again as she shook her head and spoke,
"No sweetheart, it's soon to be Queen of Hell for you but anyway, I don't feel like wasting more time on you. So, tell me... Do you know why am I here? "

Lindsey gulped as she slowly shook her head as a no. The female chuckled and spoke, "Well, simple. Your fault is that you dared to kiss my boyfriend, Jungkook and you even scared his baby sister. He even warned you but despite that, you were not ready to leave him....... So, I am here to punish you." Her voice changed to a menacing one at the sentence which sent a cold shiver down Lindsey's spine.

Lindsey's eyes brimmed with tears as her lips were quivering due to fear by now. She didn't dare to argue back as she was well aware of the powers of the woman in front of her. She knew very well how she could kill her in a snap. Jungkook didn't kill her for her father's sake which she used as an advantage but she.... she had no reason to spare her. She would definitely kill her if she felt like doing so and nobody would question her as she was the vampire princess after all and Lindsey? ... Lindsey was just the daughter of a commander in Jungkook's court.

Lindsey gulped down her cold saliva before slowly bringing her trembling hands together and joining them in front of her as she pleaded,

"P-please... Leave me... I.. will never trouble him again...please I-"
