"Now, we will let this batter sit for half an hour," Ye-ji instructed Chun-ja on what should be done next.
Well, Chun-ja had already finished her homework but Jungkook was not home yet. So, she decided to learn how to bake a cake from her sister-in-law.
"After that-" Ye-ji was interrupted by a click from the door.
Both of their eyes widened as they knew who it was. They raced towards the family room, taking their positions, ready to execute their plan.
Soon, the door opened revealing Jungkook with an angry scowl on his face, unlike every day, when he would be smiling even after a busy day. Well, he was really stressed out because the attacks by the demons and vampires, who have escaped after the first gate of Hell opened, have been increasing rapidly.
However, both the girls were too engrossed in preparing themselves for their prank to notice his angry expression. They nodded before they started their act.
" WHAT THE HELL, KIM CHUN-JA? CAN'T YOU DO SUCH A SIMPLE THING?"
"IT WASN'T MY FAULT, OKAY? IT WAS AN ACCIDENT?"
Jungkook frowned on hearing the noises as he lifted his gaze up only to be met with the sight of Chun-ja and Ye-ji arguing like there was no tomorrow.
"What happened to them all of a sudden?" He mumbled to himself as they were never the ones to fight with each other.
He was about to step forward to stop them but his eyes widened at the scene in front of him.
Ye-ji pushed Chun-ja in between the argument making her stumble back. However, Chun-ja felt a sharp pain right in her chest when Ye-ji pushed her. Her features contorted into a painful expression as she whimpered and clutched her chest tightly.
Black dots appeared in her vision all of a sudden as beads of sweat formed on her forehead when the pain in her chest increased. Her legs gave up as she felt dizzy and fell on the floor, unconscious.
"Chun-ja!" Jungkook yelled loudly as he raced towards the unconscious girl. He immediately knelt down as he placed her head in his lap and patted her cheeks softly, trying to wake her up.
"Baby...baby... Wake up..."
Panic took over him when she didn't respond. Ye-ji had just pushed her, then what happened that she lost her consciousness?
"Wake up, Chun-ja. See, Oppa is here.. please wake up..."
Tears brimmed in his eyes as she wasn't responding. What the hell had just happened? Why did she feel that pain in her chest? Why wasn't she responding? Many terrifying scenarios started racing in his head but soon, he clenched his jaw in anger as he looked at Ye-ji with fire in his eyes.
