Morning

Chun-ja's eyes fluttered open after having a long nap. She stretched her limbs sleepily before slowly sitting up on the bed with her back leaning against the headboard of the bed.

She yawned lazily before bringing her fists to her eyes, to rub them. After getting rid of the eye gunk, she yawned softly before swinging her legs over the side of the bed.

However, a lazy frown formed on her forehead when her eyes fell on a yellow, sticky note stuck on the nightstand.

She blinked her eyes to clear her vision before reaching out for the note. It took her a minute to regain her vision before she was able to make out the words written on it.

"I love you very much, noona. You can't even imagine how much I love...but ... I know that you had a special bond with Dad. You loved him more than anything and I know that you miss him very much... but please ... Lemme tell you that your Kookie loves you too ♡

-Your baby"

Chun-ja squinted her eyes as she didn't know why but she felt a weird.... very weird feeling in her stomach after reading that note as if.... something was about to happen.... as if... she was about to.... lose her Kookie.

However, she shook her head almost immediately after that thought crossed her mind.

"What am I thinking?.... It's just a note... That too a sweet one... I don't need to feel apprehensive about it ...", She mumbled to herself.

A smile formed on her lips when she noticed the heart next to his words as she decided to take the note positively.

"Love you too, baby.", She chuckled before sticking the note back in its place.

"Wait.... Where is he? ..... Last night, he left for Hell.... Did he come back?"

She decided to check if he was at home or not as she made her way towards his room. However, her expressions twisted into confused ones when she found his bedroom empty..... but.... The strange thing was that all his pictures, which used to hang on the walls were nowhere to be in sight.

"Weird...", She mumbled to herself.

"Maybe... He didn't want his pictures on the wall.", She shrugged before making her way out of his room.

She checked the living room and other rooms but still didn't find Jeongguk.

"Uhh... Did he not return last night?... Maybe, he had to stay there for that night... Should I call him? ....no...no... He might get disturbed. I am sure that he would return soon....", She mumbled to herself.
