soulmate AUs

Here are the soulmate aus/prompts i think would fit best for the brothers  (or just ones that i think would be cute). *spoilers for lesson 16 starting in Levi's section* 

Luci:

- Soulmate marks except it's hella slowburn because they both wear long sleeves/pants. Maybe MC gets injured or something and that's how Luci sees their mark :))

- anything you draw on your arm appears on your soulmate except it's pre-canon and MC's a preteen. (i'm just imagining MC drawing dicks on their arm and Luci being frustrated w/them)

- your soulmate's name is written on your wrist. (in your soulmate's native language) (so for Luci that would probably be a celestial realm language) MC gets made fun of at school for having a soulmate who 'doesn't know how to write' (little do they know-) (Luci knows immediately that MC is his soulmate) (but he keeps it a secret from them, especially if MC seems to dislike their soulmate or doesn't want to meet them) (and he tells his brothers not to tell MC what the words on their wrist say) (that doesn't stop Luke tho)

Mammon:

- your right eye is the color of your soulmate's eyes (plot twist: nobody notices for a long time bc both MC and Mammon have blue eyes) 

- everytime your soulmate lies it's written across your skin. (and MC's arms get covered in insults) (one day Mammon says he loves them and they look at their arm thinking it's gonna appear)

Levi:

- soulmates can hear each other's thoughts (but both MC and Levi have low self esteem so it's a train-wreck in there) (past-MC is just like 'baby, what happened to you?') (even more so once they figure it out)

- people are colorblind until they meet their soulmate. Levi is the only one of his brothers who hasn't met their soulmate and he's starting to think he'll never get one. (but then a wild MC appears) (and in lesson 16 Levi watches in horror as everything fades back to shades of grey) (but then when MC comes back the colors come back too, just like when they first met)

Satan:

- people are colorblind until they make physical contact with their soulmate. (and then MC and Satan don't do that until later in canon) 

- you see little flashes of your soulmate's life in dreams.

- when people turn 18 they swap bodies with their soulmate (it continues to happen randomly until they meet up)

Asmo:

- soulmates share dreams sometimes (mostly nightmares) (the nightmares are a cruel blend of both of their current fears) (bonus points if Belphie tries to go into MC's dream and finds Asmo there) (bonus bonus points if Asmo and MC help fight each other's nightmares) (MC's being killed by Belphie in a dream and Asmo leaps in with a metal pole)

- you see your soulmate in mirrors and reflections. Asmo is disappointed that he doesn't have a soulmate but is happy he can look into his own reflection. (but then one day a toddler!MC appears in his mirror when he's trying to apply makeup or smth) (and he just drops everything bc 'omg, it's a little baby!') (there's no romance until MC is 18+ ofc) (that applies to all of these)

Beel:

- soulmates share dreams (just like the AU in Asmo's section) (i just think it'd be cool)

- soulmate marks. MC and Beel both get theirs on their hands. When Beel's mark appears he hopes that one day he'll get to meet them. (imagine Belphie meets MC and notices the mark on their hand-) (would it change canon or would Belphie still go through with killing them?)

Belphie:

- people are colorblind until they meet their soulmate. (Belphie uses it to manipulate MC) (because the safety of his brothers is more important than a soulmate bond) (assuming one of the reasons he killed MC was to break the pacts) (As Belphie kills MC he watches his world fade to a dull grey)

- soulmates feel each other's physical pain. (this would complicate Belpie's plan quite a bit) (but Dia would also not be able to do much to him, bc anything he does to hurt Belphie will also risk hurting MC) (Belphie would probably try to capitalize on that when he escapes from the attic) (but keep in mind it also depends on pain tolerance. soulmates would only feel pain through the bond as much as the other person does)

- when your soulmate lies it's written on your skin. (MC knows Belphie is lying the whole time bc of this)
