"What happened?" I asked.

"A minor car accident," Felix simply shrugged like it was no big deal.

"It surely doesn't look like a minor  car accident to me," I stated, eyeing the badly crashed four-wheeler. "Anyway, how long do we have?"

He kneeled on the ground, checking the vehicle's tires, "The customer wanted it back in a week."

"One week? Was he serious?"

"Yep and that too in its previous sunshine and rainbows form." It was clear that this unfair deadline annoyed him as well.

"This crap would take more time than that." I heaved a sigh.

"Apparently, that's not his problem." He said it like, those were the exact words of this disformed car's owner.

"Right," I nodded at my co-worker, "So let's get start—"

"Levi!" I heard a voice call me.

I turned towards the direction of the voice and found Kristoff, rushing towards me in a panicked state.

"Yeah, Kris?" I tried to come off as unaffected, but my voice cracked betraying me. I had never seen this man in panic, and it scared me a little.

My boss didn't look at me, "Y-You should go back home. Quick."

I frowned, "Why?"

He took a deep breath to compose himself, "Levi, please understand and go."

I nodded in defeat and rushed towards the garage to take the bike, gifted by Kristoff on my fifth anniversary as his worker and friend.

Without wasting time, I mounted on my bike and set off to my home. Hitting the road, I saw that the sun was setting, casting an orange hue all over the sky.

The weather was just too beautiful for anything bad to happen today.

Due to my increased speed than usual, I reached my destination faster.

Getting off of the two-wheeler, I paced into my home and pushed open the unlocked door.

As the door opened, I was welcomed with the sight of my distraught brothers.

I couldn't gather enough courage to ask anything. I could only stand there, frozen and glued to the spot.

There was only so much time left before my curiosity took over and urged me to know something.

"What happened?" I asked for the second time this day, but how different were the situations from each other.

"Levi..." Seth approached me.

"Tell me, Seth—what happened?!"

He wiped away his tears, "Calm down, please."

"Calm down? Then why the fuck are you all crying?!" I felt tears forming in my eyes so I looked away not wanting them to see my weak side.

Seth then hugged me, taking me by surprise.

"She's gone, Levi... Hannah is gone."
