"Mint choco?!" All of us exclaimed in unison.

"Yeah, why not?" Asher shrugged it off as if nothing was wrong with having mint choco cake on his birthday.

This human was something else.

"Bro, you good?" Joshua approached Asher and sat beside him on the couch.

"Oh c'mon, it's my birthday after all," Asher whined, "and also, we only turn 21 once."

Oh, right.

Sometimes, I forgot that I was the youngest among them because of Joshua and Asher.

"Ok then," Seth spread his arms as if he were a negotiator who was gonna solve this cake issue, "It's mint choco then."

Everyone let out a disappointed sigh except for Asher. He was just too overjoyed for his birthday and cake.

After all, he only turned 21 once.

"Ah done," I smiled proudly as I completed doing the decorations, "Y'all should pay me extra for making me do all these." I joked.

Seth smiled at me, "Fair enough."

"We are paying extra though," Joshua wiggled his eyebrows, "with our love and gratitude."

"Ok then next time, when you wanna play at an arcade, pay them with love and gratitude and don't ask me," I looked at him mischievously.

"What?!" Asher came from downstairs, "You never called me to play, Joshua Philips!"

"Oops," I looked at Joshua.

"What else can I do? Y'all don't allow me to play at an arcade. That's why I had to do it secretly." Joshua defended himself.

"You clearly know why we don't allow you," Dennis said, sending a fake glare at me for making him wear a ribbon on his head. I requested him to wear it till Asher's birthday ended.

"Y'all say I spend a lot of money at the arcade because I want to play till I win," Joshua pouted.

"Exactly," Dennis said while his fingers urged to rip off that pink ribbon from his hair.

Joshua snickered, "Anyway, you look cute in that ribbon, Dennis."

Dennis sharply looked at him while Joshua put his arms up in fake surrender.

"Where is Ash? It's almost time to cut the cake," Levi announced while setting the 'very delicious' mint choco cake on the dining table.

Levi had been a little happier since that day, and honestly, I couldn't ask for more.

"I'll call him," I already started walking towards his room, wondering when did he disappear like that.

The door to Asher's room was open, and I saw him hiding something.

With a quirky smile, I knocked on his door, "What are you hiding Ash-Ash?"

He noticed me and rolled his eyes, "What's with that creepy look?"

I giggled and entered his room, "Seriously, what are you hiding? A love letter, perhaps?"

"Oh gosh, leash your horses, Elsa." He said dramatically.

"Fine then say what are you hiding so desperately?" I crossed my arms.

"It isn't your business, though." He blinked at me innocently.

"I know, I can't joke around with anybody else other than Joshua and you." I sighed dramatically.

"Oh quit with that melodrama," He huffed, "Fine, I'll show you."

My eyes lit up at his sudden giving in.

He lifted his pillow and took out a journal, "I wrote a song for Hannah, that's it."

"Wow, that's so amazing. Sing it for us then." I requested.

"No, I'm not ready yet," He looked uncomfortable.

"Fine, then at least sing for me, pretty please?" I looked through my puppy eyes.

"Oh God, stop doing that, I'll sing. I'll sing," Asher scurried and took his beautifully furnished guitar and started to sing after taking a deep breath.

I was left in tears by the end of the song. "I didn't expect such a good song from a guy who likes Mint Choco."

He sat straight and pulled his eyebrows in a frown.

"Should I be offended now?"
