Some chapters had to close this year, and I had to keep my promise to finish this book before this month ends!

Also, for those who don't know, in the August of 2021, I published a paperback titled The White Pigeon. It's available worldwide on Amazon Kindle... the only book that wasn't posted on Wattpad because I decided to burn the midnight oil and finish chapters back to back and publish it in print too! It was quite an experience, as you may have already guessed.

Now, as for APLB... Writing A Page Left Blank has been a reflective and wholesome ride, and despite burning out in the process, I would do it all over again for this book. 11 Days of Halal Dating was the second novel I penned, and back then, everything only revolved around its protagonists, Tammara and Raiyyan. So in the middle of its introductory chapters, I would pause and ask myself how I wanted to show their siblings. Spontaneously, I decided to give Tam a younger sis named Anabya, and Raiyyan a pair of twin siblings. That's all that they were meant to be at the start, side characters. But then life happened, and Allah guided me to write books based on these very side characters.

It leaves me a bit in awe every time I think Ahmed was just Raiyyan's brother until he became this Ahmed that taught us so many lessons and set our standards so high. As you can tell, APLB will remain one of my favorites forever, and although it was meant to be a novella, I'm glad about how it turned out in the end.

I've changed tremendously as a person from when I began writing this book, but I'm grateful for all the realizations I've picked up on the way. I hope this has been a fruitful journey for you as well, and I'm slightly emotional that this is the first time in my eight years on Wattpad that I'm ending a book without already starting another.

As thrilling as the entire process of publishing a book, chapter by chapter, on Wattpad is, it's also a commitment. And while I'm going to miss writing here, I know my commitments will not allow me to keep up a steady pace so wouldn't want to keep readers hanging.

I sincerely hope someday I can come back here to pen more tales, in sha Allah. And to those who've been asking me all along, I do plan to repost BM3 and 11 Days of Halal Dating. I'll be taking them one chapter at a time!

One last time, thank you for being the best bunch of readers, your support is partly the reason I could finish this book. I truly wish you live a beautiful life, and pray that the future turns out much, much better than the days that have gone by <3
