If there's one thing that Alexandra Scott knew was that life was a constant changing thing as she knew nothing could ever stay the same despite how much she wanted it to be as she suddenly like everything in her life had changed practically overnight. Her head kept replaying the events of the night in her head as she lay next to AJ thinking about the defeat the Ravens, the fight with Dan, Lucas and Keith leaving for Charleston and finally her night with her AJ as she turned to her side to watch the sleeping boy. Unlike Haley, Alex hadn't been waiting until marriage but rather was waiting until she was certain that she in love with the person and ready for the next step which she knew she was when she headed over to AJ's apartment that night as a smile slowly creeped up on her face as she thought about the night they shared. A smile that seemed to echo onto AJ's face as Alex began to trace the outline of his face with her finger despite being asleep causing her smile to brighten as he seemed to respond to her even in his sleep. Alex soon got out of bed as she grabbed a nearby grey T-shirt of AJ's to put on allowing it to fall down to her knees as she headed into the kitchen after making sure that Eric wasn't lurking in the apartment somewhere. Alex was busy making breakfast for them both when she suddenly felt someone wrap themselves around her waist

" good morning" AJ said in a sleepy husky voice as he dropped a kiss to her shoulder as he felt like he needed to be close to her after waking up to find her gone from the side of bed she'd been sleeping on
" good morning..." Alex said as she took a piece of bacon out of the pan she was cooking as she placed it in her mouth for him to bit into as he did so and kissed her in the process making her chuckle
" hmmm tastes good... so I had weird dream last night that a little vixen came to my apartment and seduced me" AJ said as he decided to help her by getting plates out for the pancakes and bacons she'd made
" stop... I meant what I said yesterday, I don't regret what we did" Alex said in a small voice as she felt slightly embarrassed by his comment as images of last night seemed to flood her making her cheeks red
" good, I was kinda worried that you would" AJ said knowing that she had been the one really stopping them from taking the next step since her head had been filled with doubts while his was filled nothing but thoughts of her
" I might if it had been anyone but you" Alex said with a small smile as she knew that later her head would be filled with worrying doubts about their future that echoed her parents past but for now she was happy
" I know it's different for girls than it is for guys but I'm glad it was you too, Lex" AJ said before gently kissing her as he knew he couldn't think of anyone that he'd rather be with then her in this moment
