The whole town seemed to abuzz right now with the news of the upcoming father and son charity with the ravens since it was usually filled with old players from the ravens on the father's side and for people who were die hard fans of the ravens, it was a chance to see some of their favourite all time players against the current players on the time. However if given the chance, Alex would rather hide away until it had been and gone since it was just thing that made her realise how much she missing out on by not having father like the times there was father danger dances at school. Although she knew that the alternative of having Dan in her life as her father was much worse than anything she had missed out on by not having one. She was currently working the late shift at the café and told her mom that she would lock the place up along with Lucas to give her night off, things between Lucas and Haley were a little off right now due to the fact that he had found Haley's hat in Peyton's car which Nathan had been driving when he crashed it. Things between twins were also a little tense due to the fact that Lucas was wary of things developing the way they were between AJ and Alex.

" dude, seriously? You have got to talk to her at some point, she's our best friend" Alex said hitting her brother with the clothe she was holding as she seen Haley walked into the café before leaving again
" why are you hitting me? She's the one that walked away" Lucas said retreating slightly as he reacted to her hitting him as he gestured to the door f the café where Haley had just been as he talked about it
" yeah but because you're mad at her for getting a ride home from Nathan after you left me and her at the party when you stormed away" Alex said knowing that was the best and simplest way to explain it
" oh you mean like how you got a ride home with AJ and kissed him?" Lucas said knowing that he still wasn't totally over that happening either since he knew that they couldn't trust guys like AJ and Nathan
" so not the point right now.... Haley, wait up!" Alex said heading outside to call out to her friend causing her to stop walking so that they could try to work all of this out and stop avoiding each other
" Haley, how long are we going to do this?" Lucas said to Haley causing both her and Alex to exchange a look since it was clear that he had missed the point and the fact he was the one who caused this
" Do what?" Haley said a little clueless since she didn't necessarily think that he'd start with a line like that, although she didn't entirely know what they were fighting about right now sicnr he didn't say a lot
" Avoid each other" Lucas said referring to the fact that she had just left the café and walked away from them rather than coming in and talking to the twins like she normally would if everything was fine
" You tell me, you're the one upset" Haley said pointing out that he was the one that had caused this current fight as she looked to Alex for some help and support on this one since she agreed with her
