Chapter 4. First Mission

The next day, after Hearts and Moonlights training section, was not what Moonlight had been expecting. The first moment she was in her room cuddling her rainbow unicorn, dreaming off who knows what. The next moment she was woken up by a knock on her door. She tried to ignore it in the beginning until the knocking kept going on. She growled and let the blanket hang on her shoulders while she half awake and half asleep walked to the door. She opened the door and gave a tired glare to the person who had the audacity to wake her so early in the morning.

The person looking at her, was none other than Rosemary herself, giving her an amused smile. Moon didn't like the way she smiled at her and gave a small growl at her "What? What can be so important that you have to wake me up so early in the morning?" she said with a mumbling tone. Rosemary gave a soft smile and walked into her room, taking in the view of how Moonlight had designed. It was much different from her own room. While Rosemary had a more Viking theme going on, Moon on the other hand was a serious Rainbow theme. Very colorful wallpaper and the same goes for her blanket. On top of that her whole bed was almost filled up with stuffed animals. The room made Rosemary giggle and look back at the grumpy Moon, glaring at her waiting for an answer, which Rosemary just noticed and cleared her throat.

"First of all good morning to you as well" she started and Moon only kept giving her a glare in response. Rosemary understood she had to be serious at the moment and let her face go down and turn into a more straightforward one "You see the reason I'm here is that we have been called to go on a mission today" she continued. By that last phrase, a cold sweat ran down Moonlight's face. No no no I must have heard wrong, she didn't mean it. A mission no-no Moon thought to herself while her face turned from grumpy to a more nervous one. Rosemary noticed her change of mood and gave her a calm smile. "You don't have to worry, it is not far from here and we are all three going" she finished, trying to calm Moon's nerves down.

Moon shook her head in disbelief "I'm not even ready to fight yet, I-I won't be any help" she replied. Rosemary gave a small confused smile and put her hand on her chin indicating she was thinking "Hmm that's weird Heart told me you were to go, so I do take her words" she said looking at Moon with a hint of hope. Heart you traitor! Okay, keep calm Moon let's come up with a good enough excuse not to go Moon thought to herself. She looked back at Rosemary who was still smiling at her, "You see Rosemary, I would love to go on a mission, but I do have some small duties I have to do today" She said with a nervous laugh at the end.

Rosemary, who only smiled wider, walked up and put her hand on Moon's shoulder, "Heart said you probably would lie about something as an excuse, so there isn't anything that is gonna change our plan sorry" she replied clearly with a hint of amusement at the end of her sentence. She let go of Moon's shoulder and turned towards the door. Before she walked out of the door she turned her head giving one last smile "We'll be leaving at 8 am, we'll see you outside" she finished and left her room.

Moon, who just sat back in her bed, was out of words, she was not ready to hear that, so early at the moment. What was the clock even though she thought she was too busy talking with Rosemary that she never had time to check her clock. She turned her head towards her alarm clock seeing it was 7 am.

Moonlight gave a small groan just laying back in bed, being too tired to deal with anything at the moment, How could Heart do it, telling Rosemary she was ready, which she wasn't at all in her own opinion. She closed her eyes "and she only gave me to 8 am what a paaa.." and before she finished her sentence she quickly got out of bed "I ONLY GOT 1 HOUR TO GET READY!?" she snapped and quickly went to her closet and got ready, still being very nervous about how this mission would go.

50 minutes later

Outside their house was both Rosemary and Dreamy standing ready to leave just waiting for the last member to come out. Tapping her foot on the ground Dreamy gave a deep sigh "How long can it take to get ready, you think she isn't just too scared to come out and face it?" She said with a clear annoying tune.
