Chapter 8. A Watery Day Part 1

Heart and her younger sister Scootalis along with Dreamy and Midnight had been looking forward to the day. It's been three weeks since the assassination group had been on their mission in Fel Serin. The next few days had been hard training and other missions for all of the teams. So Heart and Lis had been talking with Midnight about having a day they could enjoy, and to help with choosing a game they went to Dreamy.

It was finally time, everything was set. Midnight asked everyone to meet them in the middle of the camp at 1 pm. Heart was enjoying the view of the different reactions from her friends. Some had a very confused look, probably thinking why they were called out here at such a time, and why everyone. While others are just either neutral or interested.

Heart went forward and got everyone's attention. "I am so glad to see everyone had their time to come out here to join us" she started and looked at everyone with a smile. "Today both I and a few others had decided to make a little game for us all to play" She finished looking behind her and this time both Dreamy and Lis walked forward with something in their hands. Was that a water gun?

"Alrighty everyone, today's game is gonna be a Water gun fight!" Dreamy started holding her gun a little higher to her chest to show it better. "Team against team!" Scootalis finished looking excited about the game.

Next was Midnight who stepped up with a small list, smiling at everyone "I suppose you all know about Water gunfights and all, but to make sure we added some small rules to make it fair" she started looking down at her list:


"Rule #1: You work with your team to get down every other team

Rule #2: When you hit you out, no cheating alright, and to make sure you don't, we got Nano to make some small sensors that will turn red when you've been hit.

Rule #3: No abilities are allowed, it's only about skills, nothing more!"

She started looking after any confused glances before she continued.

"Every team will have their own little base around the camp, and when you die you'll have to go to the meeting hall and stay there until the game is over. Any questions before I announce where your base is?" She finished looking around for anyone who could have questions. Rosemary raised her hand "Are our guns at the base or do we get them when we leave?" she asked and Midnight gave a nod before replying "you will find your guns at your base"

Rosemary lowered her hand down and a new one was raised. This time it was Fanny "What do we do if we don't understand how a gun is used?" she asked, Midnight gave a small chuckle, finding the question funny. Of course, Fanny would ask something like that or something like 'can we use physical tactics instead?' Heart stepped up this time, showing the gun she had borrowed from her sister "It's very simple compared to a normal gun, all you have to do is aim at your target and shoot when you feel you are ready!" She finished giving a small example, aiming at a tree and shooting it.

When all the questions were answered they were ready to get their locations to where to go. Midnight took out a big map of the camp and began her explanation. "First group will be Rosemary's group" she looked at Rosemary and her team members Dreamy and Moon "your base will be at the training area" they all nodded understanding. Next, she turned her face towards Fanny, Blue Rose, and Blackie. "The next group will be Fanny's group. You will have your base in at the training hall" she finished Blue Rose and Blackie both nodded their heads while Fanny saluted "Understood!" she said in a confident tone. Midnight nodded happily with the response and then cleared her throat "me and my team will have our base at the houses near the entrance of our camp while Amon and Lis are gonna have their base at the two other houses near the meeting hall" Midnight finished and backed out and let Heart take over again.
