They came to a house in the city where a woman was watering some flowers outside the house. The woman looked up and saw Jasmine and the two others "My, Jasmine have you brought new guests to ou..-" she stopped herself when she laid her eyes on Heart. She walked up to the three girls and gave a caring smile.

"Scootalight Heart is that really you dear?" She asked, Heart gave a small nod, clearly remembered the leader of Aleby when she was very young and used to live here. The woman gave her a hug and let out a small sigh of relief out "I'm so happy to see you again it's been so long" Heart yet again nodded her head. When she was younger she always, along with her twin sister, played with Jasmine at their house. "It's also great to see you again Rose" she turned around and introduced her to Midnight, the woman standing before them was the leader of Aleby, Rose Lovegarden. Heart and Midnight were invited inside, where they started to talk about things and how they have been helping in the war.

Jasmine and Midnight got along pretty well and started to have their own conversation about the story of Aleby. Heart and Rose went into the kitchen to make some food for their dinner. Heart wasn't sure if she should be asking right away about her mother or if she should wait. Rose noticed the girl being in deep thought and decided to break it. "Me and your mother used to make lots of food back when we were young" she started and Heart looked at her with an interested look. "Oh? like making it daily?" she asked, to which she was answered with a chuckle "dear no, we could never decide what to make, so we ended up fighting about it and made a lot to get to an agreement. Our parents were furious and forbid us from making food again" she finished, and gave a warm smile. Heart returned the smile and looked back at the potatoes she was pilling. Her smile slowly started to fade into a frown "Rose... maybe I ask a question" she said with a quiet voice. Rose gave her a nod with her head signaling her to go on. Heart took a deep breath before asking "What happened that day?"

Rose looked a little taken back, though she was expected to get the question one day or another. She gave a small sigh and turned her attention back to cutting the vegetables for their stew. "I had the feeling you would ask, but sadly I can't give many details." she started with a sad smile. Heart looked a little confused at that statement, then Rose started again, she mentioned that her mother came back to Aleby cause she was asked to fight and protect Aleby, cause it was her duty to do so though Heart did not get any info about why. "The last time I remember talking with your mother, she looked so sad, saying goodbye, like she knew she would not make it back, then when I saw her..." she stopped herself with a broken smile trying not to frown. Heart noticed Rose was starting to get upset and went to hold her hand to show comfort. Rose to a deep breath before continuing "last time I saw her, she was lying lifeless in the embrace of your dad... He was crying, while hugging her like he didn't want to let go..." she finished feeling her own tears starting to form in her eyes. Heart was speechless at that moment, so she did the only thing her mind told her to. She went and hugged Rose. "Thank you..." she mumbled, Rose gave her small smile back and hugged the younger girl back. They finished the food and got ready for dinner. While eating Midnight kept talking about all the information she knew about all the cities, which Jasemin was interested to hear about, which made both Rose and Heart laugh.

Jasmine and Midnight cleaned off the table while Rose and Heart were talking about how things have been. Suddenly Rose stood up from her chair "give me a moment I have something for you" she said and went upstairs probably to her room. After a few minutes she came back with some papers. She handed Heart the papers, which Heart gave a puzzle look to her. "I think this would be important for everyone in your family to read... it's your mothers last words'' she said and sat back down and took a sip of her coffee. Heart gave her a shocked expression and looked back at the papers.

Already the first sentence said a lot 'My dearest family. This letter might be the last you would ever hear from me.' She was right about that part... 'But it doesn't mean I'm trying my best to return to my loved ones.' At least she tried, Heart thought to herself with a small smile. 'My body has become more and more fragile by the days since I came back to Aleby. But I have to keep fighting for my city, for my friends, for everyone.' She stopped reading, feeling how hard her mother must have had it, leaving her loved ones... The stress she has been feeling...

She read further and saw the first part was for her aunt Laila, so she decided to skip it, for the respect, so she skipped that part. The next person to be mentioned was her so she started to focus hard on what her mother wrote. 'Heart, you are the one that has gotten my family mythical powers, which must sound very confusing for you.' Eh? Mythical power? What's that? Like mythical creatures? Heart got filled up with a lot of questions already after the first sentence, so she decided to shake it off and read further hoping for answers. ''What mythical powers?' I could imagine you would be saying. Which is a long story but sadly I don't have the time to explain it all, so my dearest friend will tell you everything you wish to hear.' ...well that did explain it. Heart looked up at Rose, who was smiling at her and gave her a nod. Heart looked back down and read again. 'Ever since you were little, you have shown very great kindness towards everyone you come across and helped when they needed it. I could remember a time where your dad had hurt his thumb and you came running with a band aid in full panic as if his finger was gonna cut off.' This story brought a happy smile to her face while reading. She clearly remembered that day, she was so panicked that her father was gonna lose a finger.

'Promise me Heart you always keep that kindness to you. Even if I may not come back. Promise me you want to fall to despair, even now where we have a war that is going on, hold your head up high.' Heart could feel her mothers serious tone talking to her. 'Promise me also to keep a great eye on your sister, I could imagine her being the prankster in the family, if I know me and my sisters relationship as well. speaking of which you twin sister... Promise me if you cross paths with her, tell her I'm sorry if she doesn't see this letter... I love you my little heart, bring peace to this world, that is my only wish... ' "Love you too mom... and thank you... I promise to do my best to bring peace to the world! And I will meet my sister again! I promise mom!" she said out loud, which only made Rose smile even brighter. Heart laid the papers down and looked at Rose with a concerned look in her eyes.

Rose nodded, "I suppose you want answers about your mothers first words, right?" Heart nodded her head in return wanting to know the true meaning of her mother's words, what is a mythical power. "What your mother meant by 'mythical power' is that, you're a mythical creature my dear" She said, which made Heart speechless, there is no way, her a mythical creature, there is no way, right? Rose kept going on with telling her about it. It appears that Heart is an angel, a mythical creature from Aleby. Does that mean her other siblings also have that ability? Maybe she'll find out later. "But how can it be, that I haven't seen any signs of this mythical power?" she asked, where Rose only lifted her shoulders "I'm not sure myself, maybe it will be active when it feels like you're ready" she answered. They went on talking, until they felt it was time to go to bed. They all said their goodnights and went to their bedrooms.
