That's it. It's done. I finally finished a book! Yay!
Anyone who's been following me on Wattpad for a while probably knows that's a bit of a rarity for me. I usually write myself into a corner and then lose the motivation to finish my story. Sometimes, I come back to them months (or, yes, even years) later, and I'll write a few more chapters, and then lose interest.
But, in 2021, I found myself at a bit of a loose end. I graduated college and, because of the pandemic, I initially had a hard time finding a job, which meant that I had a good four or five months with nothing to do but fill out endless job applications.
So, I decided that I was going to write a book and finish it. And I did! Actually, it's been finished for a while, but I was editing it one chapter at a time, and didn't want to post anything I hadn't proofread. My edits weren't particularly comprehensive, more just checking spelling and grammar and the like, so I'd still consider this very much a first draft. Even so, I hope you've enjoyed reading it!
Now, on to book two, Daughter of Fate and Fury. The first chapter will be out later today, which is very exciting!
