A/N: Modern AU; Takes place in 2012, when Ice Age 4 (my personal favorite) came out;
One night, movie night, specifically, the Madrigals gathered in the parlor to watch a movie.
"Let's watch Hunger Games!!", Luisa said.
"No!! Let's watch a romantic movie!!", Isa said.
Isa and Luisa were now arguing on what was better: Action or Romance. Everyone else rolled their eyes while Dolores covered her ears.
"Ow.", Dolores mumbled.
"Guys! Since Antonio has never picked a movie before, let him pick one.", Pepa said, glaring at Isa and Luisa at the word "never".
"But, Mama!! What are we gonna watch? Animal Planet?!", Camilo grumbled.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Cami, do you want me to tell everyone your watch history?", Pepa asked, a thunder cloud forming above her head.
"No.", Camilo said, ashamed.
Of all the movies, Antonio picked Ice Age 4. It was like their life...kind of...but with animals.
As the entire family got into the movie, Bruno walked into the living room with a bowl of popcorn.
Dolores was very into the movie until she heard something about one of the characters.
"My mom always said that good new is just bad news in disguise."
"Was this before she abandoned you?"
"Yes it was. And she also said that even though things look bad, there's a rainbow around every corner. And nothing but smooth sailing ahead!!"
"Wait...why does that sloth sound like Tio Bruno?", Dolores asked, seeing a huge storm occur in the film.
Bruno was still watching and munching on his popcorn until he heard nothing but the movie and he felt eyes stare at him.
Bruno turned and saw his whole family stare at him like he killed someone. And the poor man almost choked on his popcorn.
Bruno gulped and said, "What?"
"That sloth sounds like you, Bruno. Care to explain?", Pepa asked, her arms crossed.
"Um..I don't know, I guess he just sounds like me. I-I mean there are doppelgängers in this world!! Maybe he's like my twin or something, I don't know!!", poor Bruno tried to justify that HE DOESN'T KNOW why the sloth sounds EXACTLY like himself.
The entire movie viewing was silent as Bruno cringed at every time the sloth opened his mouth to speak. Thanks to that night, he never saw an Ice Age movie again.
