Julieta passed by the couch of her sleeping brother and smiled warmly. It was his first week out of the walls and she felt that everything was going to be a-okay.
"No~...please...stop screaming...i-it hurts...agh...please, stop yelling...", Bruno whispered in his sleep. He was tossing and turning as he began to curl into a ball, clutching his head.
"Bruno?", Julieta whispered as she cradled his head. Bruno immediately woke up and just started screaming, his eyes a luminous green.
"Hey, hey, hey, hermano...shh.", Julieta said while hugging him, trying her best to not squeeze Bruno's shaking body. Bruno was crying and began to punch his skull with his fist, as if he was knocking on wood, praying that his nightmare would disappear.
In his shattered mind, he saw the dead bodies of his entire family. The whole town. And all he could hear was screaming. Terrible, blood-curdling, sufferable screaming.
Julieta let Bruno continue his stim. "Hey...don't focus on your mind. Listen to my voice.", Julieta said calmly as she began to hum a very sweet melody.
As the melody got louder, Bruno's nightmare began to dissolve from his brain. Taking a deep breath, Bruno closed his eyes and opened them again, not glowing anymore.
Julieta continued humming until both her and Bruno fell asleep together, hermana y hermano.
