One night, Dolores was watching a rat-novela with Bruno and Mirabel acting for the rats, holding the rats as they said their lines. Mirabel found it strange but she got used to it. This time, it was Alejandro and Gabriella. You see, Alejandro had only loved Gabriella for a one-night thing. Gabriella obviously thought it was something more.
Then, she heard Mariano's sweet voice. From afar.
"Dolores? Dolores?"
Almost choking on her popcorn, she excused herself from Bruno's rat-novela show and walked outside into the town, where Mariano was holding a rose.
"Awww, Mari.", Dolores said with a smile. Mariano placed an orchid in Dolores' hair and the two shared a kiss.
"Dolores Madrigal, do you wanna go on a date with me? Tomorrow evening?", Mariano asked, going on one knee.
Dolores nodded and the two shared a loving kiss as they spent the rest of the night eating ice cream.
