Niyati pov

The tune of flute ringing in my ears, I close my eyes.
That day, it all started that day.
I wish I go back to that date and change everything.
Change my fate.
Change things so I don't meet him.
But I'm can't do anything about destiny can I?

I am so glad! I finally get to meet my brothers after so many years of separation.
And don't even ask me what Mata did to me when I came back after getting trained.
She twisted my ears, slapped me, and then hugged me, crying, because she didn't know where I was.

I told her the truth of course. And everyone else.
To say that Maharaj Dhritarashtra was disappointed in me will be a lie. He was so angry that I ran away.
And that Gandhar Raj.
That manipulative man put salt on the wounds of our dear Maharaj Dhritarashtra.

He told me, how I should act like a ‘girl’ and not be trained in weapons.
Also he told me how to dress, because I was in my armour.
Like he knows how much weight the lehanga has. He just needs to wear dhoti, that's all. He'll never know the pain of wearing a lehanga.

Not going into further detail, today was the kalapradhasan day.
My brothers will be coming back.
And I wait for them with the thali in my hands.
I was told that I would directly see them on the field but I knew they would come to meet me first.

And that they did.
Here they come.

I grin so wide on seeing my brothers and quickly did the aarti before keeping it to a side and hugging jyesth and then the little ones.

“Jyesth!” I yelp when he twists my ear. “Ow, what did I do?!”

“Just ran away from the palace without informing, that's all. And then came back years later. Do you know Mata was so afraid that something might have happened to you?”

“I know Jyesth, but if I had told Mata, then everyone in this kuruvansh would have known. Then they would've dragged me back here and telling me how to be a girl.”

“You should learn to do that didi,” Nakul says, controlling his laughter.
I just roll my eyes.

“Behen, we should go now, I have defeat Duryodhana, don't I? We'll meet you after Kalapradhasan.”
“Go carefully! And be safe.”
“Yes Didi.”

Sitting in place along with Mata, I see the kalapradhasan. Duryodhana has defeated Nakul and Sahadev.
And now it's Bheem's turn.
He enters, roaring.
I roll my eyes at his rowdiness.

“Roll your eyes more often, and then it'll be lost in your head which you use too much.”
I smile.
“I do use my head unlike you my dear Dushala.”
“Didi, you are way good at these comebacks. No one can win in this from you.”
I laugh.
“ Who will marry you if you talk back so much?” Rajamata Gandhari says.
I sigh.
“Of course someone will marry her. And I'll make sure that the one she married will be twice as good as her in these talks.” Mata says, smiling.

“Mata, I don't want to get married!”
“Not right now yes, but you will some day my little girl.”
I huff and return my attention to Bheem, who was beating Duryodhana.
“GO BHEEM!” I shout and Bheem turns back to look at me with a smirk.
And he's down.
I shake my head in disbelief and chuckle.

Yash pov

There she is.
My priye.
Smiling like an angel she is, cheering for her brothers.
She is in her white pearl lehenga, with light earrings, a mathatikka,  and bangles in her hands.
Her hair in a braid which was laying on her left shoulder, with jewelry on each braid.
Her flicks coming her eyes, but she doesn't care. All she does was show the world's most beautiful smile with her light brown eyes shining with happiness.
I look at her flicks, which was not  disturbing her anymore, so I whirl my fingers, due to which her flicks come in her eyes.
She removes it impatiently and then suddenly her eyes come in contact with mine.

Yash pov ( present )

I play the flute, looking at my priye.
She has changed.
Of course she has.
After the events that took place, anyone would.
And I'm here. Right here, but she can't see me, or rather, doesn't want to see me.
