Niyati pov
I am told to forgive someone
Someone who isn't even sorryHow do I do it?
Niyati pov
We all leave for Khandavprastha.
Without Mata.Just as Maharaja Dhritrashtra wished.
"Go kids, use your strength and capabilities to make your town renowned. I bless you all." Mata says, her eyes filled with tears.
She hugs my brothers and then Draupadi and I.
"Mata, I don't like leaving you here alone," I express my thoughts and take her soft hands in mine, "Alone with these unrighteous people."
She smiles, "Among all these years, I learnt you have always been right, putri. You were right when you said they are just our family in name. Though, they haven't done a thing to prove that they are our family. But putri, this is my home."
"But your home is with us, Mata." Bheem says.
"I agree, Mata. Come with us, deny them, tell them you won't stay here." I plead.
"A married woman's home is where her husband's family is, Putri. You'll understand that when you get married."
"If I get married." I object.
"After all of this time, I am pretty sure that it is a when." Sahadev whispers in my ears and my heart flutters.
"You better shut up, little brother, or I'll shut you up."
"What are you two muttering around?" Mata asks.
"Nothing." I reply, just too quickly for everyone to get suspicious.
"It's nothing, Mata. Nothing necessary, anyways" I mutter the last part.
"We shall leave now, Mata." Jyesth says, "Allow us."
"Live long, my kids." She blesses us.

"Jyesth, we are going to convert a desert into a town. Do you have any idea how we're going to do that?" Nakul asks Jyesth.
"Yes Jyestha, and we have many people following us too, to help us establish the town." Sahadev adds.
"Niyati, how are we going to do it, explain it to others, will you?" He asks me, smiling.
"Y'all have even discussed it?" Arjun asks.
"It came up in a conversation after the incident of Varnavat." I say innocently.
They shake their heads.
"So what are we going to do, kids of Pandu?" Panchali asks.
"As Mata said, we will use our capability." I shrugg, "Arjun is the son of Indra, the Lord of the gods, the Lord of rains. He can use his skills to make the land fertile."
***
"Bhrata," I call out, as I enter his tent.
"What is it, Behena?" Jyesth asks me.
"I want to talk to you about something."
"Go ahead, behena." he gestures me to continue.
"When we establish our town, and then later, our own rajya, I want to become your advisor."
Yudhisthir smiles.
"And I wouldn't want you to not be my advisor. As Mata said, Niyati, you always have been right. And Kakashree Vidur ordered me to have you as my advisor, if I didn't he would disown me" he says, laughing.
"But don't get me wrong Behena, even if Kakashree Vidur had not ordered me to have as my advisor, I still would always want you to be my advisor, my ray of sunshine in darkness, my way.
Just as Madhav guides Arjun, I want you to guide me. Madhav and you have this divine aura around you that lightens the whole world behena, you both are perfect for each other."
My eyes meet his warm loving brown ones.
Tears dare to fall but I don't let them, never will, not in front of them.
Because I know I can cry in front of Yash. Because he can see me in and out, unlike anyone else.
He comes near me and takes me into his arms.
"Never hide from me, behena, you know I love you, always."
***
As Jyesth and I exit his tent we see all the citizens, lying on the ground unconscious.
Bhrata and I look towards each other before looking out for our other brothers.
"What happened here, Panchali?" Jyesth asks when he sees her crying.
"The king of snakes, Takshak, Aarhya, he bit them all as we had entered his kingdom, now they're all down there. Even Vrushali, who I told I would take care of, I can't find her as well."
"They are not dead, Jyesth, they are just poisoned. If we can find a way, then we can redo everything." Arjun says.
We all agree.
Arjun takes out his bow and arrow and with the blessing of Agnidev, he sets the Khandavprastha ablaze.
Lord Indra appears and his lightning blue eyes meet mine.
It's as if I knew him.
Or maybe it's just that his son is my brother.
"Stop this nuisance, right now Arjun! Or I'll have to raise my weapons on you! The snakes of this kingdom have my protection. Do not force me to fight with you." He announces.
"Forgive me, Lord Indra, but I'm not here to kill those snakes, I am here suggesting that we live on this land together."
"You are compelling me to fight you, Arjun!"
"Then so be it, Lord Indra." Arjun says and then joins his hands, seeking his blessings.
And then, the fight starts.
***
"I give you Gandiva, Arjun. This is my blessing to you." Indra says.
Arjun takes the bow and leans his head.
"Well Parth, you have come a long way." Vasudev Krishna's voice comes into my ears and my eyes widen.
I turn around and his morpankh comes into vision and then his ocean eyes.
And then him, completely.
