Niyati pov

I go to the river bank of the city I'm in, disguised as a Gopi.
Filling the pot with water I saw a movement in the water.
I look at it to see him.
My eyes widened and I look back to see no one behind me.
But in the water I see him.
I see Yash.

“Behen! Niyati didi!” I hear my brothers call me out.
I stop Yash from swinging me and get up from the swing.

“I am here!” I say.
They come and gape at the surrounding.
And then, their eyes fall on Yash and I.

“Didi, what are you doing here?” Arjun asks.
“After I ran away from there I got lost and reached here. Yash, here, found me, and we were talking.”

“Yash? Didi, are you dreaming again like you did with that Manmohan?
Jyesth, I think something happened to didi.” Nakul says, actually looking worried.

Yash laughs.

“Arre, she means me.”

“But your name is-”

“I told her to call me Yash. It is my name, one of my names.”
“So Yash is also your name?”
“Yes, but only your didi can call me that.” He says, staring at me with something in his eyes.

I blush.
What am I doing? I never blush.

I shake my head so as to clear my head.

I look at my brothers to see their mouths open. But Jyesth is just simply staring at me.

“Come on,” Jyesth says, “Let us go, Mami sent us to find you both.”

I nod and we all start walking back.
While I'm back, I feel a hand on my arm, slowing me.
I look at the hand first then at Jyesth.

“What happened Jyesth?”

“You were blushing.” he states, still staring at me. “You never blush. No man has made you blush. How come Madhav did?”

I open my mouth, but Jyesth beats me to it.

“Niyati, promise if there's something going on between you, you'll tell me. Promise me.”

“I just met him yesterday. And all he does is annoy me.”

“You will never know when this annoying Madhav may become your dear-”

“Jyesth! Stop. Nothing is happening between us.” I interrupt him.

“Then promise me, if something does happen, you'll tell me.”

I sigh.
“Promise.”

We reach the palace entry and see Mami and Mama but with a very muscular person and a small delicate girl.

“Putri” Mami says, “This is Balram and Subhadra.”

“Namaste Balram Dau” I join my hands before bending to take his blessings.

“Arre, Niyati, you should not touch my feet for blessings, you always have my blessings.”
I look at him in the eyes, but his eyes were watering. It told a different story, like I wasn't just his sister.  He hugs me, tight.
“You should hug me instead of touching my feet. You're in my heart Niyati. My behen.”

I smile, my eyes watering too.
I don't know why, but Balram Dau seems closer to me then any one of my brothers.

I hear Yash chuckle behind me.

And then Dau pulls away, rubbing his eyes. But I stop his hands and I wipe the tears away.
I smile at him.

Then I move on to Subhadra.
I hug her tightly.

“Didi, you know I always wanted a sister. But all I got were 2 brothers. One who is too overprotective and the other is just always troubling me by playing pranks on me.”
I see Dau twist her ears.
Subhadra winces.
“Dau!” she whines. “See what I mean? At the end of the day, both of them will just irritate me. Now you will have to protect me from them Niyati didi.”

I grin, and purse my lips.

“Rajkumari Subhadra, who are you asking to protect you, you should ask her to not trouble you. She's elder than us and she is not only overprotective like Balram Dau, but also a prankster like Madhav. She will cause twice as much as trouble as Dau and Madhav would do together.” Nakul says, squinting his eyes on me while I just laugh.

“Don't you believe them Bhadre, they are lying. I will protect you.” I assure Subhadra.

After all these talks we entered the palace.
It is truly beautiful. After spending 2-3 days there, we met in the sabha.
Today we were going to discuss the name of this city.

I was little worried.
I had not seen Yash in these past days. He just seemed to have vanished into thin air.
I searched for him everywhere in the palace, but I just couldn't find him.

But then I see him enter the sabha with dau.
All the family members were present.

Mama crowned Yash as the king of the city and Dau as Yash's right man. But then came the problem.
They still hadn't named the city.

All of them were discussing about what to keep the name.
Everyone were hell bound on naming it as Mathura only.
But I did not agree.

“Niyati, what do you think?” I hear Yash's voice.
I snap out my thoughts and look at him.

“Um, I don't have any right to discuss on this, it's better that the family decide what they want to do.” I say, stepping back.

“Arre putri, tell us your opinions. And you're part of our family too, you've got as much as right as anyone else here does.” Rohini Mami says.

“And clearly, you did think something. It's written on you face.” Dau says.

“Oh well, actually, I thought why would y'all want to name this city Mathura only? I mean, Kans ruled over Mathura too. Why don't we have a new beginning? This is a new city, then why not a new name?”
I suggest.

Everyone ponders on it before nodding their heads.

“That is true putri” Mama says, still nodding his head.

“So Niyati, do you have a name?”
Balram Dau asks me.

“Let me think. And y'all think too.”

We all think before Yash and I say it on the same time. But I start it first.

“Dwar-”
“Ka-”

We both look at eachother.

“-ineshwar” I complete.
“-dampur” Yash completes.

We both are staring at each other, but I am staring at him because I'm confused whereas he's smiling.

“Dwarka,” Mama says, trying out the name. “Lets name it Dwarka, both of each.”

“Dwarka” all of us whispers, before we decide the name of the divine city.

Yash pov

I chuckle at my priye's reaction.
When will she understand that we're one?
When will you understand priye?
Anyways, I'm coming to make you understand it.

What can be the ship name of Niyati and Yash?
I can't think of anything except ‘Nash’, and why would we want our ship to be destructive, lol.
Well can y'all think of anything?

Anyways,
Thanks for reading!
