Mikayla found herself lost in thought as Gluttony bathed her. His bathroom was expansive, but she loved it. The tub was a work of art and as the jets massaged away the stress and tension in her body, she couldn't help but sigh in appreciation. She loved that Gluttony didn't bother her. He didn't force conversation or try to read her. He simply ran the bath and asked if it was okay for him to bathe with her.

She wasn't sure why she was so open to bathing with a stranger, but she chalked it up to the whole mate theory. Mikayla did everything to avoid seeing a specific body part, but Gluttony's erection was loud and proud. The tip alone seemed red and belligerent and just like its owner it was a monument in itself.

He sat her in his lap in the wide tub and Mikayla wanted to enjoy the scorching water, but the intrusion against her back was blatant. "Sorry," Gluttony whispered as if he could read her mind. Which made her wonder. "Can you guys read my mind?" She turned around to see him and his facial expression told her everything.

"Unbelievable!" She threw her hands in the air before sitting back. She couldn't fathom everything that had happened to her in less than 24 hours. It was all laughable to be quite honest. The supernatural wasn't something that she had never heard of, but it was all mythical in theory. It wasn't real. However, she had seven men telling her that it was with proof thanks to Lust.

Gluttony could hear her thoughts. He was sure his brothers could too. They were so loud and confused and the hint of fear did not go unnoticed. He always thought the first time seeing his mate naked and holding her in his arms would be romantic and life changing. It was life changing.

Mikayla was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen and he'd seen plenty, but there was nothing romantic about this moment. She did relax into his embrace and let him bathe her, but she wasn't present. She was lost in her head and Gluttony worried that maybe Pride was right and this was too much too soon.

They were now in bed. She had borrowed one of his t-shirts that reached her knees and went commando. Her leg was on his waist as her head rested on his bare chest. The pain was gone and replaced with nothing but comfort and pleasure.

She traced the tattoos on his chest as she thought everything over. "What are you guys? I mean, I know you're the sins, but what's your supernatural...ethnicity I guess." Gluttony gave a low chuckle that melted her insides. "You wouldn't begin to understand what we are, darling, but technically we're demons."

She nodded her head numbly. Mikayla had gone to Catholic school from 4th grade to freshman year of high school. She knew a lot about demons like how evil they were and the proverbial gateway drug to Hell. "Mortals don't know the real deal about demons." Gluttony offered stroking her back.

"So, you guys don't torture souls in Hell and do a bunch of evil shit?" Gluttony tried to handle this delicately. "Just like there are different types of people across various races there are different types of demons. We're not like average demons who cause mayhem-"

"No, you're just the demons that delegate and instruct them." Mikayla said with a hint of sass in her voice. "Darling, I can't imagine what you're feeling right now. Yes, I can read your thoughts, but only because they're so loud. I wouldn't purposefully do that to you."

Gluttony sighed. "I know this all seems so out of control and I will do whatever is necessary to help you adjust." Mikayla heard what he had to say, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to adjust. This was beyond crazy. She wondered what her friends would think and say if she actually had any.

Mikayla liked to think she had a life like Joan on 'Girlfriends' in another world, surrounded with ride or die friends that helped you get through hardships. She didn't have that though. She was nice and amiable, but Mikayla never really got past the point of acquaintance with most people she met.
