The howl that Archie let out startled them awake. "What?! What's going on?" Gluttony questioned sleepily. Sloth looked around and saw that Mikayla was missing and felt it. Her heart that was so in sync with his was no longer beating.

"NO!!! No no no!!!" Sloth screamed running to her room with his brothers right behind him. There laying lifelessly on her bed was their wife. "No!" Sloth cried out before running to her and placing her dead body in his lap. He kissed her forehead and rocked her as tears poured down his face.

"We had more time! We were supposed to have more time!" Greed screamed as he crumpled to the floor. Lust, Gluttony and Envy were in shock. They stood stone still as they watched the scenes unfold.

Wrath boiled with a rage he's never felt as images of how everything played out bombarded him. He screamed out as his entire body became consumed with fire before disappearing. Pride just stared at his dead wife in his brother's arms. He couldn't cry. He couldn't think. He couldn't breathe.

Gluttony felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. It snapped him out of it, but when he saw the name of the sender, he couldn't help but smile. "She sent us a message." He spoke up before hitting play.

They listened as her voice poured into the room and couldn't help the watery smile it pulled from each of them. "Please remember that I love you and I always will." She said before the video ended. Envy let out a cry so deep that it washed over all of his brothers. Even though Wrath wasn't there, Pride knew he felt it.

They sat and stood there for hours and just cried. The mourning and grief too much to bear. At times they would individually disappear and Pride knew it was to do something destructive at the hands of mortals.

They had all returned that night and Sloth was a shell of himself. Mikayla's body was still very much so in his clutches and none of the brothers made a move to remove her from him. They were all ready and willing to sit there and wallow in their melancholy thoughts until Sloth sat up.

"She's cold." He spoke up. "No shit Sherlock, she's dead." Greed snapped. Sloth shook his head. "No, she's cold." It all clicked for them and smiles appeared on their faces.

When a mortal died it took a while for their souls to be herded as so many of them died by the second. When their bodies finally chilled it was a symptom of their souls finding their resting place.

"Let's go!" Lust said with a hopeful grin on his face. He would be better once he was able to see his wife again. "I don't want to leave her body," Sloth spoke up. He cradled her in his arms like she was the most precious thing to him. Even in death.

"Go. I'll be here." They nodded at him before disappearing and reappearing in hell. They went to the level for those that were the least offensive. They weren't tortured just held in cells for their minor transgressions.

They knew she would be here thanks to their grandfather, but they didn't care. They were royalty. She was royalty and would be transferred into the palace in seconds. "Princess!" Pride called out as they searched each cell. "Darling!" Gluttony called out. "Come on, beautiful, where are you?" Greed yelled.

They searched every level in hell for a total of 14 hours. It took 14 hours for them to finally come to terms with the fact that she wasn't there. "Father!" Wrath called out angrily as they burst into the throne room. They would've been shocked to see all of their mothers there with their father in the center, but they had more pressing matters at hand.

"Where is she?" Lust said with venom. Lucifer sighed immediately knowing what they were referencing. "Where have you hidden her? She's not in the palace! Give her to us." Pride demanded. "She's not here." Lucifer spoke up shocking them.
