The sins spent the remaining hours torturing the remaining virtues for their role in the demise of their wife. They would eventually heal as there was no real way to get rid of a sin or virtue without their grandfather getting involved. It had been ten hours between heaven and hell, which made it ten days on Earth and a lot had changed.

Gluttony, Greed, Pride, Wrath and Lust teleported into Mikayla's room as soon as they were done and almost cried on sight. Their wife had lost weight. She coughed so violently that it seemed the house shook.

The fan was on, but she was bundled in blankets signifying a battle between a fever and chills. When she did manage to stop coughing her breaths were shorter. They could tell she was beyond exhausted by how little she moved.

"Everything hurts," she cried out causing their hearts to pull. "I know, love, I know. You just need to rest." Envy tried to reassure, but his brothers could tell that he knew the truth. They all did.

Sloth looked just as bad as Mikayla if not worse. They knew it had to do with their bond. Pride wasn't sure what Mikayla's death would do to him. He couldn't die, but Pride knew that by the end of all of this they all would want to.

"I'm dying, aren't I?" The question snapped them all out of their thoughts. Wrath looked at her with soft eyes before breaking down. She pulled him into her chest and stroked his hair. Gluttony was busy pacing trying to figure out how he could get an audience with the one person that could fix all of this.

Sloth was sleeping beside Mikayla and she knew he needed it. The virus was slowly killing her and wreaking havoc on him. Pride's face was expressionless and it scared her. He looked as though he'd done things and seen things that he could push even further past and do worse.

Greed was uncharacteristically quiet while Lust looked like a ghost stuck in time. Then there was Envy. He had been her rock while the others were gone doing God knows what.

"It's okay, my loves. I promise you it's okay." Wrath looked at her crazily. "How can you say that? This is my fault. It's all my fault!" She shook her head no and kissed him. "I made a choice and I'm happy with it." They all looked at her confusedly.

"What are you talking about, Mikayla?" Pride asked and it startled her. He had never really called her by her name and it felt wrong. "I had a dream. This person asked me if I wanted to be rid of the virus. Marion Louise Moore didn't raise no fool, so I asked at what cost. They didn't really like that I asked that, but relented. They said they could remove the virus on one condition." They looked at her and waited on baited breath.

"They'd remove the virus only if I agree to a life where I never met any of you and we had no recollection of each other. I couldn't imagine living a life like that. I did meet you and I love you with all my heart. No one is going to take that away from us. No one. So, I said no. I said I would die a thousand times and have the memories I cherish so dearly than to live until 100 and have never met you guys."

It was Envy's turn to breakdown. Wrath moved out of the way and let his twin take his place. "Why would you do something so stupid?! You could live!" Wrath snapped angrily. "You'd want to forget me? You'd want to forget everything we've shared?"

Wrath saw the expression on her face. It was as if he'd slapped her. "Baby..." Mikayla shook her head. "Do you all feel that way? Do you feel I was stupid to choose you and our love over my life?" They didn't say anything.

Mikayla watched as Envy stepped away with the same look on his face as the others. "Get out." Mikayla said lowly. They didn't make a move. "GET OUT!" She snapped causing them to sigh before turning. They were almost out the door before she called them.
