A/N:

AAHHHHH HI GUYS GUESS WHOS BACK!

Shawn's P.O.V.

I lie here, alive, but my mother would seriously have to disagree with that.

"Honey do something, I'm getting worried" she would tell me whispering the last part thinking I wouldn't hear it.

She didn't think I was listening to anything she said.

But I was. I was listening so intently I could hear a pin drop. I knew she was scared but I wasn't thinking of that, in fact that was the last thing on my mind.

The first being...

Rebecca.

I just didn't understand, I don't know what happened in the first place.

Ashley was surely behind it all though. But I could never bring myself to talk to Ashley of course; it would distance myself away from Rebecca.

And although that may sound like it's for the best, it isn't.

And maybe I should just move on, but guess what? I can't.

Spring break is coming to an end, and by "coming" I mean I have school in half in hour.

That means I have to face her. No more staring at the wall wondering where it all went wrong or what could have been.

I have to see her, unless I don't go to school but that's not an option considering I've missed to much school in these last few months I will spend my two weeks of summer before tour in summer school.

Awful I know.

I bring myself to sit up and walk down the stairs. When I get into the kitchen I make myself a bowl of cereal and sit across the table from my mother who is in a rush, I'm guessing for work.

She stops and looks at me as if she's seen a ghost. I just look down and finish my cereal.

The walk to school is quiet, it would be peaceful if I wasn't in such a rush. Since Becca lives on my street and goes to my school we were bound to cross paths so I was very quick with my walk.

I catch up with Cam in the hallway and he looks a bit shocked by my presence.

"He's alive!" He shouts to no one in particular and I just laugh uncomfortably.

"Yeah" I fake chuckle in loss of words.

"So what's been happening?" He asks as we walk down the crowded halls.

"Nothing really. Just.... preparing for tour!" I lie. I am not even the slightest bit ready.

"Yeah me too! Can you believe it's just 2 months away?" He asks in a perky tone. I nod

"Yeah its all so crazy" I begin

"but I'm gonna miss this... ya know our friends, family and..... others" I trail of and he pats my back.

"It will all be worth it one day" he tells me and I try thinking about how that could be slightly true. I keep that thought at the back of my mind.

Cam and I part when I walk into my 1st hour class, English.

I wait a bit impatiently for class to begin on the other side of the room then usual.

The class begins filling up and I look around for one person in particular but can't seem to find her.

That's when I hear something. No just anything, the most beautiful thing in the world, her laugh.

I turn and see her in the hallway smiling and it makes me smile but that's when I notice, she's not alone. She's with Matt.
