Becca's P.O.V.

And that's when I wake up to my alarm. I climb out of bed, not being tired anymore, and I shut my alarm off.

I grab my makeup bag and race to the bathroom and continue my regular routine stroking my eye with black mascara and creating a thin line of eyeliner and a wing on top of my eyelid. 

I brush through my thick brown snarls and run a curling iron through my hair quickly. Once I'm done I brush my teeth and roll deodorant all over my armpit and drench my body in  perfume.

I head back to my room and pull my t-shirt over my head and exchange it with a black crop top with the lyrics in white saying "I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity" from 'Gravity' by Sara Bareilles.

I slid on a pair of white high waist denim jean shorts and my black toms.

I grab bag and my I phone and head out the kitchen door. 

Just when I think I can have a peaceful walk...

Shawn's  P.O.V.

"Come on!" Michael, my cousin, begs.

"Whatever, but if I die, it's on you" I say getting in Michaels GMC Terrian instead of walking to school.

"Okay" he say sarcastically.

"But we have to pick up Cam and Carter at Cam's house." he adds

"I better not be late." I warn

"Don't worry so much." he rolls his eyes and starts the engine, why did I agree to this?

My thoughts are interrupted by Cam, Carter and... Chad coming our way.

"I thought it was just Cam and Carter?" I question

"Me too... but Chad isn't so bad" he lies.  Yes he is.

"Hey buddy "Chad says once he reaches us and hits my head.

"Hey" I say sarcastically and roll my eyes once trying my best not to hate him.

"Shawny!" Cam yells while he approaches the car, "Hey cam!" I yell back.

"So how was the move? I mean Toronto to North Carolina, it's gotta be strange."

"Nah it's alright. I used to come down when I was younger and stay with Michael in the summers so I know the area."

Once they climb in the back, with no warning, Michael speeds down the highway to our school. I hear Chad unbuckle his seat belt.

"HEY BABE, wanna ride!?" he grins at the girl walking quietly listening to music as we pass her. The girl flips him off and he sinks back down into his seat. I try my hardest not to chuckle.

I stay silent as we pull into the school and come to a stop in the parking lot right where a car coming from the opposite direction was going to park.

Chad's presence was really starting to get on my nerves, so when we come to a stop I forcefully slam the car door.

I am happy when I see jack and Nash, "Johnson!" I holler while walking towards them. They turn around and both greet me with "Hey".

"Want us to show you around your classes?" Nash asks.

"Yeah, thanks" I say, "Cam!" Nash yells across the lot and they all join us, including Chad... great.

We start walking toward the building and I somehow end up next to Chad. Well isn't my first day just peachy so far.

Once we enter, I somehow regret that thought as I take my first step through the hall and see a beautiful girl.

I get so lost in her eyes, I stop paying attention to everything around me. I  feel my body falling to the ground, no not on the ground, on the girl.

I pull her over me before we hit the ground so I don't crush her. She is on top of me and I'm looking into her beautiful eyes, she looks so familiar and that's when it hits me...

Flashback:

Who is this beautiful girl? She is amazing! And so is this song, I have to talk to her. I walk towards her and Bill? I think it is. But before my mind can catch up with my feet, she is gone. I need to find her.

Flashback over :

"You're the one" I gaze into her eyes

"What?" she interrupts me from my thoughts.

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I'm Shawn" I introduce.

"Of course you are. " She comes back and tries to push herself off of me.

"Here" I say trying to help her up, she denies it by standing to her feet all on her own.

"Okay then" I mutter standing to my feet myself

"Gravity, right?" I ask.

"What did you say to me?" She fires back taking an intimidating step towards me.

"Your shirt, Gravity by Sara Bareilles, yeah?" I point to the shirt with like my favorite lyrics ever.

"Oh yeah" she responds slightly embarrassed before walking off in the other direction. Snapping back into reality, I hear people in the hall screaming things.

"OOOOOOH! Get it Shawny!" I hear Chad say, what a dick.  I roll my eyes and chase after her.

"Wait! What's your name?" I question the girl now walking beside me.

She glares at me before turning into a classroom; I quickly stop and search through my things, looking for my schedule.

I get my hands on it only to find out I'm in room 102, which is the number printed above the door she just walked through.

What I intended on keeping in my head, found its way of out my mouth in a slight whisper, "Yes!"
