Chapter 21

Summer training camp?

"Alright everyone," Shouta announced, gaining the student's attention, "Our final exams are coming up. And, depending on those who pass, you'll be coming on a weeklong camp trip during the summer. Those who don't pass can't come."

The class ran into an excited uproar, along with a few groans from the less intelligent students. "Don't get too excited. It's a training camp meaning you won't just be slacking around; you'll be training your quirks and bodies as well. It's a secluded area meaning no one aside from the UA faculty and a few people from the police force/government will know the location. No villains will be able to locate us, so no attacks."

The class mumbled amongst each other and started creating small study groups with their friends, wanting to pass the exams. Soon, the release bell rang, the students gathered their things and left to the cafeteria for lunch.

"Izuku!" Ochako yelled, running to her friend and placing a hand on her shoulder. "Iida, Tokoyami, and I are all studying in Iida's room when school lets out today, want to come with? Your brother can come too!" She said happily, turning so she walked backwards in front of Izuku.

"Haha sure, I can check in with him as well." Izuku answered before walking off to find his brother. Izuku turned down the hall only to find Shoto and Tenya together against the wall. Izuku cleared his throat, spooking the two teens enough for them to part. "Uhm, Uraraka wants to know if-"

"I already asked him." Tenya interrupted.

"Mhm, I'm going with you guys." Shoto stated bluntly.

Izuku stared at the two with a blank look on his face. 'They are definitely fucking.' he thought before leaving the hallway and bumping into someone. "Oh- Kaminari, hey." The greenette muttered, looking up at the boy.

The blonde smiled at Izuku, "Hey, where're you headed?" he asked, pushing the blonde hair out of his face. The greenette stared at the blonde, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth.

"Eugh....I'm uh- I'm just headed to the cafeteria now haha.." He blurted out, looking to the side and suddenly finding the blue floorboards very alluring. Denki chuckled and grabbed Izuku's hand before pulling him down the hall.

Izuku stared at the back of Denki's head, confused. "I was headed there aswell! I'll take you." The blonde exclaimed cheerfully. A smile made its way to Izuku's face as they neared the cafeteria and walked in, Denki's hand pulling from Izuku's much to the greenettes dismay.

The two parted ways, both going to their respective groups. Ochako smiled as Izuku took his seat beside her and leaned against him, nudging hun slightly. "Sooooo...You and Kaminari are friends now?" She questioned. Izuku only nodded, pulling his bento from his yellow book bag.

Ochako silently watched as the boy at his food, chewing on her Mochi and puffing out her cheeks. "So..what are we gonna go over first? While we study, I mean." She spoke, getting the groups attention.

Fumikage gave a small shrug, "Maybe basics first, basically just what you'd have to know in battle, observing opponents and stuff." he said. Ochako made an 'O' shape of her mouth and nodded slightly. 

The rest of the lunch period was mostly quiet, the casual small talk every so often but not much. After lunch ended, they all returned to class for the remainder of the school day before going to the dorms. For a little while everyone was in the common area eating afterschool snacks, talking, exchanging notes, etc.

Soon, the dubbed 'deku squad' headed to Tenya's dorm, along with Katsuki who claimed he wasn't going for study help but to judge the others' battle tactics.

Izuku was beyond tired, Ochako, Shoto, and Fumikage decided to stay the night in Tenya's dorm while Katsuki had left a few hours before they finished studying. The greenette roamed the lonely hall, heading toward his dorm before catching a slight glimpse of the inside of Denki's dorm due to his door being opened slightly. He peeked into the room quietly, observing.

His chest tightened, an uneasy yet warm feeling filling his stomach. Both of the boys that seemed to constantly give him a warm and fuzzy feeling in his gut, Denki and Eijirou, were laying on Denki's massive yellow bean bag cuddled against one another, arms around the other with their hands semi-intertwined. While the sight made Izuku's heart ache for some odd reason, it also gave him a satisfying feeling in his gut. The same he gets when talking to one or the other.

He shook his head, quietly walking into the dorm and grabbing the blanket from the bed, gently placing on the cuddled boys' bodies. When Izuku could feel the gross tight feeling rise from his chest to his throat, he decided to leave the dorm. Shutting it silently behind him, he finally retired to his bedroom, plopping himself on the mattress and curling up in his thick blue blanket before drifting off to a peaceful sleep.

{meanwhile..}

"Denki..you're up right?" A soft yet rasped voice muttered in the darkness of the bedroom. A small nod was felt under the red haired boy's chin. A small chuckle could be heard. "That was nice wasn't it?"

"Yeah..I wish he would've stayed. We could've all cuddled." Denki said, his bright golden eyes glowing in the darkness of the bedroom. Eijirou nodded.

"We don't know how he'd feel with the both of us though. Not yet at least...I mean hell, earlier today he definitely felt SOMETHING when you were together..did you see how he looked at you???" He let out, rambling. Denki sighed, leaning his head back.

"We should just go for it. I mean whats the worst that could happen?"

"Uhhhh...Todoroki or Bakugo would kill us or he'd say no."

"Right...ok then." Denki debated on whatever was going on in his mind. "Oh! I have an idea! Let's invite him here for a game and movie night that way if he gets tired he can just sleep here!" He whisper-shouted to the best of his ability. Eijirou grinned.

"Maybe thatd work..we'll find out. But for now, bed time. Goodnight Denki.."

"Goodnight Eijirou."
