Chapter 18

Training

Izuku was tired to say the least, he had just woken up and got dragged out of his bedroom by Katsuki.

"Kacchan let me go. I wanna go back to my room and watch yaoi- I mean reality TV shows." Izuku complained, trying to get Katsuki's firm grip on his wrist to loosen. Katsuki just ignored his complaint and continued literally dragging him down the stairs and into the common area.

"Why must you torture me so, my dear dandelion friend?"

Katsuki merely huffed in annoyance and shoved Izuku into the dining area, where the rest of their class already was, seated at the table while eating omelets and fruit. Izuku groaned and went to sit beside his brother. "Good Morning to you too." Shoto said, taking a grape and plopping it into his mouth. Izuku has never really been a morning person, Shoto and Katsuki both knew that very well, though they decided to ignore it.

"Why're we up so early exactly?" Izuku grumbled, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Katsuki scoffed and said "Deku, it's ten in the morning." Izuku looked at him bewildered.

"That's early, Kacchan!" He screeched back at the blonde. "Why must the world torture me so?" He complained yet again, leaning back in his seat. Shoto grabbed onto the back of his seat and pulled it down, making his chair fall back with him still seated in it. "Shoto Todoroki you better run." Izuku said, rubbing the back of his head as he struggled to get off the floor.

"Just eat your food, idiot." Shouto said, pulling Izuku up and setting his chair back up for him to sit. Izuku grunted and sat down then began eating his food. The rest of the class giggled at the brothers' antics while they scarfed their food down quickly, ready to get training done and over with.

"Todoroki? Izuku? I've been meaning to ask. . ." Mina said, setting her spoon down on a napkin. "You both look so different. Are either one of you adopted?" She asked, causing Izuku to choke on his food and Shouto to drop his spoon.

Katsuki glared at Mina for her unnecessary question. "I'm adopted, I've been a Todoroki for about ten years now." Izuku answered, hitting his chest lightly in order to catch his breath. Mina nodded, taking the newfound information in pretty quickly.

Soon after the question was answered, everyone finished eating and went to Ground Beta, where they told the UA staff and principal they would be training. The students all went to separate areas in either groups, pairs, or on their own.

People with combat type quirks went in pairs with another who had a combat type quirk to fight. The people with observation type quirks went in a group together to train their bodies and quirks. And lastly, the people with long-range combat quirks went on their own to train their quirks and bodies as well as their aim.

Izuku, one of the few with a long-range type quirk, had gone to a far area, away from the other students. He was surrounded by tall buildings, which he liked. He let out his wings with a small grunt, it hurt since they were still healing, but he could handle it. He quickly flew up to the highest rooftop, landing gently on his feet.

The boy took a quick moment to take in the fresh air around him, it was calming to him. He didn't exactly know how he was meant to train his quirk or body, especially since he was now on his own. Whoever made this system is a complete idiot. . . . Tenya. Izuku sighed and sat down.

He looked at the sky and smiled, it was a beautiful day. Usually, Izuku would be in bed right now, especially since getting into UA changed his entire schedule quite quickly. He hated having to wake up early now, it made him even more tired than normal. He sighed calmly, the silence soothing all of his emotions.

Though, with a class like his, that didn't last long. He soon heard explosions, yelling, laughing, and saw fire and ice in the near distance. He sighed once again, sitting up and retracting his wings.

"I just want some peace and quiet . ." He mumbled, not liking the situation. "Me too" Fumikage said, showing up out of literally nowhere. Izuku yelped, falling back onto his backside and staring at his 'attacker'.

"T-Tokoyami- You scared the life out of me, you emo." Izuku complained, sitting up again as Fumikage sat across from him. Fumikage chuckled, which was rare. The two bird boys talked about random things, the noisiness of their classmates slowly becoming irrelevant to the both of them as they got lost in the conversation.

Soon, it was time for the class to return to the dormitory, which the bird boys wasted no time doing, quickly getting down from the rooftop with the help of Izuku's wings. They rushed back to the dorms, getting there before the others with ease. The boys sat on the couch of the living room and relaxed until they heard the voices of their eighteen classmates strolling back into the alliance.

"Midoriya! Tokoyami! What is the meaning of you two being lazy and lounging around instead of being out training with us!" Tenya questions loudly, marching towards the two on the couch while waving his arms frantically in robotic-like movements. The boys rolled their eyes, saying they got to the dorms faster with the help of Izuku's quirks, which got Tenya to back off easily. Of course, they left out the fact that they didn't even train in general.

The others in the room all giggled at Tenya's antics, aside from Katsuki and Shoto, of course. . . 'monotone voiced stone faced whores. . .'

"Let's eat, guys~ I'm hungry!" Mina complained, dragging the 's' while saying 'guys'. Others started agreeing with her statement, Katsuki rushing to the kitchen before anyone else could go in and 'set the dorms aflame' as Katsuki says.

"Deku! Come in here for a sec, would you?!" Katsuki shouted from the kitchen. Izuku got up and hurried to Katsuki's side, looking at his friend with confusion painting his features.

Katsuki grinned smugly, "So who do you like?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and smirking as the shorter boys' face turned strawberry red. Izuku frantically looked around the room, his eyes landing on two certain boys. Eijirou and Denki. Izuku smiled softly, his muscles un-tensing as he stared at the two boys in the other room.

Katsuki hummed in understanding, before turning back to the stove and going back to cooking. "Alright, well go on back ya' gay nerd. Your presence is going to spoil my Yaki Udon." He grumbled, shoving Izuku out of the kitchen with his hand. Katsuki sighed as he watched Izuku leave the kitchen before turning his head back to the food he was cooking, 'Stupid nerd, you're going to get yourself hurt one day because of you're idiocy.' Katsuki thought.

He knew Poly relationships were harder to handle than a two-person relationship. But, he also knew Eijirou and Denki both liked Izuku as well. So, despite his uncertainty, he'll let this one thing slide. For Izuku's happiness.

{Meanwhile / Himiko's POV}

I quickly removed my red tie and left shoe, leaving the tie on the bed I was sitting on and the shoe beside the window of the room. I looked around and grabbed a small black desk chair and used it to break the window open before setting it back where it was before, then I ran out of the infirmary and into a room labeled 'File room'. I plucked a hair pin from one of my buns, causing it to fall down and let my hair loose, and used the pin to pick the doors' lock.

I smiled when the lock clicked, 'It's open.' I thought to myself. I went into the room and looked around for the next two months' files for the first years in the hero course. Once I found the files for the next two months I started taking pictures of all of the paperwork in the files. 'UA sports festival. . .Semester end exam. . .Summer training camp. . .et cetera. . .' I read the continents in my mind before quickly placing the files just as I found them before leaving the room when I knew the coast was clear.

I Got out of the school undetected, and of course, with the student ID badge I stole from that girl, leaving was easy.
