Angel woke up squinting at the light grey ceilings hanging overhead. The lights were dimmed, but to Angel, they were like staring into the sun. The room was gray and green, a small reinforced window was on the far side of the room, next to where the walls meet, devoid of any lever to lift it; only out.

"Uuuuggh..." he said as he slowly woke up, groggy and sore all over.

"Oh, finally awake, sleepyhead?! I was beginning to think I put you in a coma forever," said Dawn from the left corner of the room.

"Relax Sarah, I said he wasn't in a fatal coma, but he would be out for a while," said the man in the right corner of the room.

"One, you know it's Dawn in front of unidentifiable people. And two, I know I hit him hard, but I didn't expect him to be out for FIVE fucking DAYS!" She said worryingly and in an annoyed tone.

"Ehhh!," Angel whimpered loudly as he tried to remove the wires and tubes from him. He was horrified at the sight of machines and the beeping noises from them. And even more so from the one sitting next to him.

"Angel?!" Dawn questioned, astonished that he broke free from the straps on his arms to keep him from moving.

"Please don't hurt me! I will leave right away!" He said while trying to get out of the makeshift bed.

"Oh no, you don't!" Dawn Said as she pushed him down. "Just chillax and breathe. You won't be hurt by me anymore. Just lay back and be chill".

He calmed down a bit, laid back down, and felt the headache set in. "Where am I?". Angel asked as he covered his eyes from the semi-bright lights above.

"A little hole in the wall. Not many people know about this place." Said Dawn.

Then, a pulsating jerk of pain caused him to tense up. His head throbbed and his body tensed up at every few jolts of pain.

Dawn Exclaimed, "Doctor!" There was a Doctor at the far right corner of the room. He quickly came by and said, "Fight the pain kid", he clicked a button and the machine next to the bed made a whirring sound, "Don't worry, Sarah, he will be fine after a few drops."

"First off, you know it's Dawn, and second off, I'm not worried. Why would I be worried about this kid I don't know?" She exclaimed in an annoyed tone.

"I need you to calm down, Sarah. He has nothing on him". The Doctor said.

"Whatever". She said as she stormed out of the room.

The Doctor watched her leave then turned back and grabbed a clipboard from the stand next to the bed. He grabbed a pen from his lab coat and jotted something down. "Don't mind her, young man. She truly is kindhearted, but she doesn't like to show it around too many people". He stood next to Angel and took off the necklace all the doctors wear, (the stethoscope, I know, but many at a young age don't, at 16 my Angel is dumb, so follow along) put it in his ear, and the other end at Angel's chest. (You know the whole doctor spiel here, so let's skip it). "Heart rate is 94 beats, but that can be expected." As the doctor finishes writing and setting the clipboard down. "So, what brings you in today? Aside from her, of course." The doctor says playfully.

Angel looks at the doctor, then back down at the sheets he is laying in, "I honestly don't know. One minute, I'm in a forced brawl with what's-her-face and the next I'm here. So, to tell you the truth, I don't know."
