Leaving to head home, Emma stopped Magnolia by tugging on her loose sweater.
Turning to see both Manjiro and Baji behind her as well, "What is it, Emma?"
The blonde girl perked up at the familiar, "Will I be able to see you again?"
Magnolia crouched down to Emma's height, a small smile growing on her lips, "If you'll let me. Em-chan."
Emma's eyes grew slightly big at the surprisingly cute name. She nodded her head happily as she smiled brightly.
Magnolia sat back up and looked at the boys, "Will you both allow me to be your friend, if you'll let me..?" She said hesitantly as if she wasn't even worth their time after how she pushed them away. She did a curt bow to the both of them.
Both boys were baffled at how respectful she was in this moment than she was at least 10 minutes ago.
Baji stepped forward first and did a nod, "Yeah sure, I thought we were already friends... Were we not?" He looked back at his blonde friend.
Manjiro stepped up next to him with a giant grin, "We were already friends when I shared my lollipop with you!" He gave her a thumbs up.
Magnolia couldn't help the growing smile of her face as she felt her stomach flutter all over the place. She stood back up and looked away embarrassed as she was hesitantly wanting to ask.
Manjiro seemingly already done with her sudden bashfulness, "Oi! Just spit it out already! We're friends aren't we, you can ask us anything!" He placed his hands on his hips.
She looked at the three of them before slowly speaking up, "C-Can I call you by my own nicknames...?"
Emma looked at her happily and hugged her tightly, "Yes please!"
Baji shrugged, "I don't mind."
"Do you mean those nicknames that you called us when you first met us?" Manjiro snapped a finger.
Magnolia smiled nervously, "If you'll let me..."
The three kids looked at each other before giving her a thumbs up, "Go right ahead!" They said at the said time.
Magnolia let out a giggle at they're excitement, "Then..."
"Em-Chan..." Emma giggled.
"Kei-Chan." Baji nodded approvingly.
"And... Jiro-Chan..." Manjiro just gave her a smile.
"I'll see you guys, tomorrow..!" She smiled and turned to leave. As soon as she slid the door open, a familiar name reached her name that she hoped to soon hear again.
