It's been a year and Magnolia has finally situated herself comfortably in her small body but there was one issue.
School.
She had dreaded the moment of going back to school.
I mean who wants to actually go back to that child prison that forces unneeded knowledge in little kid's heads.
After a little pep talk with herself she convinced that it couldn't be that bad as it was in her early years which were the easiest.
So now she was walking to school with Jiro and Kei, down the street that leads to their elementary school.
Little backpacks tucked tightly around their shoulders as they wore little matching jackets. The three walked in the building hand in hand as they surveyed their surroundings.
"They all look weak." Jiro commented off handed. A quick snack in the head by Magnolia quickly shut him up.
"Don't say that! That's rude!" She whisper shouted at him.
"But it's true... they don't look like they could even throw a proper punch..." Baji observed a kid run forward after one of his friend and trip over his own shoelace.
Another smack from Magnolia was found on Baji's head, "Oww..!!"
"Even if you don't like the kids, just smile..!" Magnolia walked forward first and earned a few smiles back from the other kids.
Jiro and Kei both looked at each other doubtfully, and then proceeded to follow after her.
After making it into the classroom, it was simple coloring, reading, and easy equations.
Nothing too big or surprising for a kid at this age.
They were now seated in their own wanted groups and went to eat whatever they brought.
Jiro and Baji pulled out plastic bags full of snacks and Capri Suns. Magnolia just full out a bento box that her mother made her excitedly.
She opened the lid and both boys gasped at how neat and cool it looked.
Inside their was some onigiri filled rice with red plums. On the side was an omelet with tiny squid sausages. On the omelet was written in ketchup, 'Little flower!'. Jiro was way too happy as he gazed down at the tiny flag on the omelet.
Magnolia had to thank her mother for her amazing cooking skills and ask later if she could teach her some of her house wife ways.
Starting early never hurt anybody.
"Did your mom make you that!?" Jiro asked while taking out the flag that had, 'Yay!' imprinted on it.
"Yep! I especially like how she makes her omelets.. she adds extra cheese with the fried rice..." She whispered lowly to her friends.
