Flipping out her phone, Magnolia checked the time.
9:33 pm.
Knowing this, she made a quick call to a certain person and pressed the dial button.
'Bzzt. Bzzt.'
'Click— Hello? This is Sano Shinichiro, Owner of Motor Works, how can I help you?'
Connecting her phone call to her Bike Helmet, Magnolia veered up her Cruiser and started down the road from her driveway, "Yes, this is Magnolia, I'm coming over to hang out."
'Magnolia-Chan? At this time? Wouldn't you want to hang out with Mikey?'
Magnolia chuckled as she slowed down at a red light, her fingers drumming against the handles, "Yeah, but I just feel like hanging out with you, feel honored."
'Is this about Mikey's birthday coming up?'
Magnolia hummed to herself, her eyes roaming the streets for any crazy drivers, "Partially."
'Well I don't mind. Just drive safe and don't go over the speed limit.'
"I will. I'll be there in about... 10 minutes." Magnolia thought to herself as she hung up and put her phone safely back in her pocket.
With the green light flashing on, Magnolia pressed down on the pedal and zipped down the street. Cars honked at her when she cut in front of them in a rush.
Her phone started buzzing again, pulling it out she noticed the caller, clicking her tongue, she answered, "I'm heading over there right now."
'Come pick me up right now, Nolia-Chan.'
Even if it was over a call, Magnolia could definitely sense the heavy lack of feeling in his tone. A sudden shiver ran down her spine as she felt her lips tug down in a frown, "No."
'But Nolia—!! You know I can't go! My bike is trashed—!! Please!'
Magnolia shook her head as she was almost tempted to go fetch him, but she had to think logically and calm in a situation like this. Taking him to the scene where his brother might potentially die right in front of him. That would most likely lead to a full on massacre pointed to Tora, who only wanted to give him a gift.
"My decision is final, Jiro-chan. I'll see you later."
