Alan slammed his hands down the table.

"Where was the ticket headed for!?" He asked.

"Uhh..." The young man was a little frightened, "It said it was headed to this Island called Adalwolf."

"Adalwolf..!" Alan ran out of there with Mary.

...

Katarina was enjoying herself with the cakes.

Artemis had ordered every cake, a slice of it to her, and a set cup of tea. She had coffee and a few biscuits with it.

She wasn't big on sweets.

No, I think she somewhat detested it.

But seeing Katarina enjoying it made her smile. It's less bitter now that she was eating with someone fun.

"You seem to be really enjoying yourself," she hummed.

"What about you?" Katarina finished her second plate.

"I'm not big on sweets since childhood," Artemis said.

"Why not?" Katarina drank some tea.

"Back in my childhood, I lived in a shabby old run-down house than what you first saw which was the Grand Duchy I ordered to be built to my desire of home with all my hard work finally paying off while in war with the pirates and greedy Islanders." Artemis savored on coffee, "The Head chef used to be my only chef that worked hard with making my meals wholeheartedly, that included desserts but I grew out of it the more blood I saw."

Katarina frowned, did Artemis see bloodshed?

"Here is today's latest newspaper, Duke Athanasios." Her coachman had come holding a newspaper in one hand.

"You don't need to know more about my past, I'd prefer I hear yours." Artemis took the newspaper and crossed her legs leaning back on her seat.

"You don't need to hide your past y'know," Katarina hummed.

Artemis glanced up from her newspaper.

"You can talk to me whenever you don't feel too good," Katarina said with an assuring smile.

Artemis huffed up a bemused smile, this twin of hers sure was something, isn't she?

"I won't promise that." She said, "I purged every Pirate and Islander out of the large plots of land I own, even until now I still itch looking for their whereabouts to burn them on a stake in front of everyone after judging them if they deserve death or a lifetime of imprisonment."

"That's harsh!" Katarina chirped.

"It's reasonable." Artemis looked back down her newspapers.

Katarina couldn't deny it probably was, she's never really been by Artemis's side and all. Funny name for her twin, it was super far off anything rhyming to her name.

Even their last names were far off from each other too.

Artemis snapped her fingers.

The coachman walked a step over to them, "How may I be of service, Duke Athanasios?"

"Serve Katarina well." Artemis got up.
