Chapter 5: Acquaintance

That was the second Prince's first thought when he saw Katarina.

Artemis seemed to be in quite a warm conversation with her supposed lookalike sister as they walked inside the hospital.

The coachman stood in wait with the horses.

"What's going on, Theo?" The third princess peeked to see what her second younger brother was looking at.

"Did you see Duke Artemis, older sister Rashana?!" Theodoric asked.

The third princess raised a brow, "No?"

She and her younger brother had just come out of the hospital for their yearly check-up after her siblings.

Their siblings finished before them and left by now.

"Why? Was there something of interest that got you to look?" Rashana asked.

"Yeah!" Theodoric said as he hopped back off of the carriage to rush back inside the hospital.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Rashana jumped out as well.

"Third P-Princess Rashana!? Second Prince Theodoric???" The coachman was surprised when the carriage shook a bit and they all left rushing back inside the hospital.

...

"W-We'll need just a bit of blood from the two of you by hand." The doctor was shocked to see two Artemis Athanasios in the waiting room.

"Alright," Katarina offered her hand.

It will be just a bit by a needle, it won't be a lot but it'll hurt like an ant's bite.

"If it hurts I'll buy you dessert later for payment." Artemis also offered her hand.

"Ouch."

"Ah, sorry! Did it hurt?" The nurse perked up, she was afraid she'd be killed by Artemis.

"Did you just do that on purpose?" Artemis snickered as the nurse took some of her blood finished and sanitized and put a bandaid on her.

"Uhm... Nope." Katarina was smiling as the nurse sanitized and put a bandaid on her as well.

The nurse in charge of her was a little frightened by her suddenly faking being in pain.

"This'll only take five minutes, please feel comfortable waiting." The doctor took the samples in a small tray, bowing before leaving to get the DNA test done.

...

Artemis was finally starting to realize how fun it was to listen to Katarina.

Their conversation was fun.

Then they heard a knock.

Artemis raised a brow by this.

"Hm?" Katarina looked.

In came the second Prince and third Princess.

"See!" Theodoric said.

Rashana gasped.

"Is that your twin!?" She asked.

"I didn't know you were hiding your sister, Duke Artemis! Do you have other siblings too??" Theodoric said.

Artemis sighed, legs crossed, leaned back on the couch she sat with Katarina together, saying, "Not yet, we're getting a DNA test to see if we're truly related."
