Artemis was hoping Katarina is indeed using the card to spend money everywhere.

Walking on the wooden floors of the docking station.

She had tucked arms behind her back in wait to see the ships become clear from afar come closer.

'So much wealth and fame and yet I felt so empty after all that time until she came...' humming, she asked, "When is it that they should be arriving?"

"Soon, Duke Athanasios, I checked the maths with everything to make sure there were no late or early greetings." Her Assistant answered.

Artemis closed her eyes for a moment, the smell of open seas was nothing but a burden to her back when she was in that pirate ship living as a cleaner mopping the floors and washing dishes. Now she can make anybody get on their knees and mop their face down on the floors or kick someone into a different room to clean the piles of dishes for her.

She used to get yelled at, getting blamed that she stole the Captain's money. Now she can take money from every Pirate ship she purges, they're rarely seen now though.

She used to stand guard, sleep-deprived, and everything. Now she can get people to stand guard in her life without a problem.

The whole Island loved her, hell, they even have the greed to make her Empress, but she didn't take the opportunity and left the real royal family alone as it is.

Funny how the nobles other than her glue themselves to the royal family instead.

She's the bigger catch in the sea, the royal family is nothing but bait to use to lure her.

...

'I want to see her now...' Artemis was still waiting, it's only been five minutes though and the ships were already seen in the clear coming closer as well.

Just a bit more.

She needs to wait just a bit more.

She sighed.

...

"How do I spend fifty million before the end of the week..?" Katarina sighed while eating cake with everyone.

"Why is it that you wish to spend it before a week? It's in two days by now isn't it?" Alan asked.

"Is a hundred gold lesser still for five?" Maria asked.

"You don't get it," Katarina huffed, "A hundred is bigger than fifty."

Gerald chuckled, pulling the cup of tea close to his face, "You've never been bright with math haven't you?"

"A hundred million gold is bigger than fifty million, Prince Gerald!" Katarina said.

He choked on his tea, coughing on his sleeve.

"What..!?" Mary was just as shocked as everyone else was.

Katarina huffed, raising the golden card in front of them, saying, "If I don't spend fifty million gold before next week, she'll make me spend a hundred million the next weeks to come or she'll kick me out."

"You can come back home with us, Sister," Keith said.

"Hm? Oh, no, I'm never going back." Katarina chided.

"What!?" Everyone shot up.

"W... What do you mean by that, Lady Katarina!?" Mary asked.

"Oh... It's just, Artemis had already registered my name into the Athanasios House when we went to the hospital." Katarina said, "And it's better than being in Sorcier where I could get killed by Mother at any time."

Everyone hummed. Her mother isn't really trying to kill her though, or even plans to.

"But... Sister, Father, and Mother are waiting for us to come back home, this time, maybe... Artemis... Can come with us too?" Keith said.

"No way! I don't want to go back to Sorcier, ever! And besides, it's not like I don't hear people talking behind my back about how weird I am for farming..." She said, sighing.

Everyone shot up again.

They knew about that so they always tried their hardest for her not to hear them, ever. Honestly, they should've known better she'd still know about those.

They frowned.

"But here with Artemis, I can farm just however I want, she even gave me the biggest of space I could ever imagine I could use!" Katarina smiled.

'She seems so happy here...' Everyone smiled melancholically.

They can't change her mind, can't they? No, there's still a way. They have a few more days, they're here for a month y'know. But time was of the essence here.

...

Artemis shook their hands, the captains, the ones that had been judged to be chosen all came back unscathed and successful with the trade. Well, Sorcier might've sent envoys but the trading system has been happening for decades before the king of this era.

"I'm glad you all returned safely," she said, perking up a smile, it wasn't much but it was the usual smile she'd put on when working, "I don't care about your success as long as my men are doing fine."

The captains all cried, such real men.

Artemis chuckled, not her problem.

"Please, enjoy your welcoming party without me. I have other work to do." She said before turning her back on them.

"We will, Duke Athanasios!!!" They all cried out while watching her leave in her carriage.

It was past afternoon. She had eaten lunch while waiting for the ships to get closer and drop anchors to land.

...

"Look! Isn't it so cute??" Katarina saw another accessory that had a little pig in it.

Everyone chuckled, they loved her eccentricities.

"Do you want it, Sister?" Keith asked.

"I'll buy it for you," Gerald said beating Keith to the punch.

"No, it's okay. I think I should at least try to use the card more." Katarina took the golden card out and offered it to one of the servants following them from behind. Well, there were two who listened to her every command.

Keith and Gerald smiled huffing.

They usually buy the things Katarina likes for her.

...

Artemis sat in the carriage, bored out of her mind staring out the window sighing with furrowed brows.

She felt oddly pissed about something.

She continued to look outside before noticing a familiar brown hair in a small group.
