Luke's POV

"Thank you all for being here today," Kadee's mum said into a microphone. "Kadee would've loved to see how many people care for her. As well as Ashton." She handed it over to Ashton's mum.

"Today, we are here to remember two people we lost that were very deep in our hearts. Kadee Lu Richard and Ashton Fletcher Irwin. Unfortunately, we were not able to provide a casket for Ashton because they never recovered his body," I saw the tears she held back in her eyes as she swallowed back the lump in her throat, "We have speakers for both of passed souls. All of them knew both of them well. Luke, would you like to come up first?"

Calum looked at me and nudged me to go up. I stood from my seat and straighten my suit. I went over and hugged both of the mums. I then stood at the altar. I cleared my throat and unfolded the pieces of paper I had in my pocket.

"H-Hello, everybody. My name is Luke Hemmings as most of you guys know. Um, I was very close to both Ashton and Kadee. Ashton and his family were kind enough to welcome me into their home when I lost my family several years ago. Kadee was and will always be my girlfriend. I have prepared a eulogy for both of them, and, um, I will read them now.

Ashton was a person that you didn't come across everyday. His smile and laugh was so contagious. He could light up a room just by walking into it. He was also very kind and generous. He just couldn't make you sad no matter how hard he tried, his stupid smile and goofy dimples would just come out. But when I saw him jump off that bridge, I knew how much he cared about other people that he didn't have enough time to make himself happy. He didn't know how many people cared about him. He only knew pain and he just wanted other people to not feel sad.

Kadee, oh, where do I start with Kadee? She was the first serious girlfriend I ever had and I wouldn't change my decision for the world. She was always so happy despite the life threatening disease she had. She was so funny and so joyous. She always knew how to make you laugh. It's funny how I got to take her on our first 'real' date. I had to find her five new bands for her t listen to before Monday and then she would let me take her out. And the rest is history. She was the only thing I had left after Ashton died. She smile was the only way I could stay happy. She had so much more to live. She always thought she was a burden to me In the hospital room, on the day she died, the last words she told me were, don't let me go," I blinked the tears back and swallowed the lump in my throat, "and that broke my heart.

These people meant the world to me and they were all I had left. And they are gone. I loved them and will continue to. Thank you for your time." Every clapped once I got down from the alter and I felt my cheeks get hot. I sat back down by Calum and he smiled at me. Next was Mary, then Calum, and last but not least Michael. And both of their parents and the boys would say something about Kadee and Ashton's brother would say something about him.

Mary's POV

"Hello, my name is Mary. I have known Ashton my whole life, but we were never close. We started getting close this year because of Kadee. He was like a ray of sunshine when you got to know him. He could make you feel down. Like I said, I never hung out him but he was a very wonderful human and he will be missed.

Kadee was a very special sort of human. A very small one as well," I laughed back the tears and wiped my sweaty palms on my black lace dress, "She usually gave me hugs and would tell me she loved me to where people thought she was cheating on Luke with me. She would always video chat me when my parents fought and it made me feel better," I had tears streaming down my face by now. "She would always show up to school with a something new to share with me whether it was a story of what happened at dinner or some big twitter fight. I love her. I always will. I will miss her forever. Thank you." I quickly got off the alter and went back to my seat. Michael brought me into his chest and rubbed the side of my arm up and down and kissed my forehead.
