"KADEE!!!!" I woke up from my nap and rubbed my face. I trugged my tank downstairs to see what my mother wanted.

I got to the end of the stairs to see my brother and sister standing there. I smiled big and run towards them. I haven't seen them since my parents divorced and they went with my dad. I didn't want to leave their arms. We break the hug and I see the tears escape their eyes.I missed them so much.

"How you doing, little sis?" Eric had always been their when nobody else was. He was my rock.

"I'm holding up, how about you guys?"

"We are okay. Dad's getting married so he wanted us to hand give you the invite." Anna gave me a light pink envelope. I opened the envelope and inside it read:

Join us in the joining of:

Johannah Poulston and Josh Richard

This will take place on:

December 31

At:

Rock Catholic Church in London, England

I blinked and made sure that I read it right. "I know. That was my reaction. Johannah is Louis Tomlinson's mom from that boy band you like. She is so excited to meet you."

I had my mouth gaping open and Eric used his forefinger to lift it up. I smiled at him.

"I can't believe dad is marrying Johannah. Wait, does this say England?" They both nodded.

"How am I supposed to get there? Who's gonna be my date? What am I gonna wear?" They giggled at my sudden episode of panic.

"Don't worry, we bought the tickets, you will find a date, and you will find a beautiful dress to wear." Anna was one to always be positive when things got stressful. I still can't believe that I'm related to her.

"Well, thanks. Are you  guys staying in town or leaving right away?"

"We are actually staying up stairs, in the guest bedroom. Mom said it was fine." I hugged them in excitement. I missed them so much.

I walked into the kitchen to see Anna doing homework on her laptop. She was writing an essay for some class. Anna was only a year older than me so she was a freshman in college.

"You off to school?" I nod.

"Let me drive you." She got the stool that sat under the island and went too get her shoes.

"No, really, I can walk."

"No, I am driving you. Plus, I don't mind. I don't have to finish that essay from 3 weeks." I stopped fighting and opened the door so we can go.

She started up her rental car and backed out of the driveway. I told her the directions and we ended up at my school just in time for the ten minute bell to ring. I see Calum and tell her to let me out.

"See you at home!"

I waved and she drove off. I walked over to Calum and he waves at me. He is with some people that I didn't know. But somebody looked familiar.

Luke.

I suddenly become precocious. I wipe my sweaty hands on my light-wash skinny jeans. Calum opens his arms and hugs me. He walks me over to his group of friends.

"Guys, this is Kadee. She is new here." I smiled and waved. They did the same. Luke just stood there staring at me. I fix my tubes and look at the ground.
