Kadee's POV
"Well, I think it's time for us to go and see where Calum went," Mary said, wiping the tears off her cheeks.
"Yeah, we better get going too," I said.
"See you later. Use a condom!" Micheal said before ending the call. We laughed. I shut my laptop and Luke put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. I kissed his lips and smiled.
"You know, I'm gonna miss you," Luke stated.
"I don't wanna go."
"Isn't there anything you can do to make you stay a little longer?"
"Chemo and radiation. I don't know if I can try that, though. I will ask at my next doctor's appointment," I said. Luke's phone started ringing.
"I've gotta take this," He said, standing up and going to the balcony. He shut the sliding glass doors and started talking to the mysterious person on the other line. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.
I got up off the bed and wrote a note to Luke saying that I'm going to get food. I walk out and get in the elevator because I don't wanna risk falling down the stairs.I look at the person in the elevator, My eyes go wide.
"You-You're Demi Lo-Lovato!" I say. She looks at me and smiles.
"I sure am! What's your name sweetheart?" She asked.
"Ka-Kadee."
"Well, it's nice to me you Kadee. I'm guessing you are a fan?" She points to my shirt, which ironically had her face on it.
"Huge fan! So is my boyfriend, Luke."
"I would love to meet him. Mayb-" The elevator stopped and the lights went out.
"Fuck," I cussed. I get my phone out and turn on my flashlight.
"I think the elevator broke," Demi stated.
"Yeah, I think we can get out but I can't do anything with my tank." I use my flashlight to see if there is some sort of emergency button or number we can call. Nothing.
"For a 4 star hotel, this place is really shitty service." Demi laughs. I laugh too, because her laugh is contagious.
"Wait, I think I can call my boyfriend and he can get help at the front desk." I go into my contacts and press Lukey-Pookie to call him.
"Hello?"
"Luke, it's me."
"Hey babe. Where are you?"
"I'm stuck in an elevator."
"Did it stop?"
"Of course it stopped, you doofus." Demi giggled and I smiled.
"Are you with somebody?"
"Yeah."
"I'll go to the front desk and get help. AND MAKE SURE MY GIRLFRIEND CAN BREATH!" He yells so Demi can hear.
"Okay!" She yells back. I end the call and turn to flashlight back on.
"I guess we are going to be stuck here for a while," I say. I sit down on the ground and Demi joins me.
"Yeah, so what do you wanna do?" She asks.
"21 questions?" I ask.
"Sure, I'll ask you and you ask me. Full name?"
