"Do you have to go?" I asked, holding Mary's hand. She nodded.
"It's only for a few weeks. They just need to run some tests and monitor me. I'll be fine. I promise."
"I'm just going to really miss you." I pulled her into a hug. She hugged me tight and close. The tears flowed onto my cheeks.
"I'll write everyday, if they'll let me." I gave her a kiss on the cheek and let her go. Luke grabbed a hold of my waist as we watched Michael drive off with Mary waving from the passenger seat. Once the car was out of sight, I broke. I turned around into his arms and he embraced me. I sobbed into his chest as he ran his hands up a down my back. "Shh, it'll be okay."
"I know," I took my head out of his chest and sniffled. He smiled and wiped the tears from my eyes.
"We have to get you to the airport." He took my hand and lead me inside of my house. He walked me up to my room.
"Hey babe?"
"Yes, Luke?"
"Are we ever gonna, you know, do the thing?"
"I-I-I mean we could. But not now. Later." I winked at him.
"How much longer till later?" He grabbed a hold of my waist from behind and kissed my neck. He ran his fingers over my breasts and down to the bottom of my shirt. He slowly lifted it.
"Babe, we need to go to the airport."
"Oh yeah, sorry. Got a little carried away."
"And later, mean later." I kissed his lips and shooed him out of my room so I can get pack. He eventually left and went to go pack his bag at his house.

He had to take on my doctors to England with us so then he can give me chemo and if something happens, then we can take care of it. We boarded the flight and the flight attendant hooked up my oxygen. I thanked her and the plane took off. Luke grabbed a hold of my hand unexpectedly.
"You okay?" He shook his hand no.
"I've never been on a plane before."
"Awe, baby." I kissed his cheek.
"Do we have a hotel room by ourselves?"
"One bed." I whispered into his ear. He smirked. He grabbed his laptop and opened it.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" I nodded. He placed a dvd inside his laptop and plugged in two pairs on earbuds. He handed me a pair and I put them in my ears.
"What movie are we watching?" All he did was smirk and I saw the opening screen that read "IF I STAY". "Are you trying to fuck with my emotions?"
"Ha, maybe." I laid my head on his shoulder and he held my hand.
*fast forward to end of movie*
"Goddamn, that movie is so good," Luke said.
"Tell me about it. How much longer till England?"
"About 12 hours."
"Shit, that's a long time."
"Excuse me, ma'am?" An attendant came up to me. "Can you not swear on the plane, there are children on this flight."
"Well, excuse me for expressing my feelings."
"I have the power to kick you off of this flight."
"Oh really? Let's see you try, you li-"
"Kadee, that's enough." Luke tried make me calm down, but it wouldn't work.
"Why should I listen to someone that is trying to make me shut my mouth? I've been walked on for too many years and this is the line."
