Trigger warning - violence, guns
Hope Whitlock
When I am done wasting another hour with emails and dissociating for minutes at a stretch, I get out of bed to make breakfast. Putting on the grey hoodie that I was wearing hours ago, I still feel a little sore, probably because of his rings that were slamming into be but it still felt oddly good, heightening the pleasure somehow, the soreness wasn't unbearable.
I cannot help but think back to a few hours ago to the things he did to me, it saddens me to think that it was the first and last time, but hey, now I know what it truly means to finish. I kept thinking about his words, his actions, the way he looked so angry that no one had done that stuff to me but I'm sure the narcissist in him loved the fact that he was the first one to do that with me.
I go to the kitchen and start brewing a pot of coffee, bringing out all the ingredients I need to make French toast and putting them on the counter beside the stove.
I put on music at a low volume, placing the phone on the island while mixing the required ingredients in a large bowl. The tiredness in me should go away with coffee and I will have to wear makeup if I want to go out because I am sure as hell my face looks tired, I can feel the light bags under my eyes. My episodes always ends up in me not being able to sleep - 3 days, that is the maximum I have gone without sleep.
Most of the hickeys are on my collar bone and below except for a couple that I can easily hide with some makeup. I think he purposely left heavier ones on areas that could be covered with clothing but it also would not make sense for him to care about something like that.
I cut the bread in triangles, dipping it in the batter and putting it in the pan. Meanwhile I pour the black caffeinated liquid- my source of energy, into a large mug, stirring just a little bit of sugar in it and sipping on it while I wait for the toast to turn the right shade of golden.
Everyone is still asleep I think, it's awfully quiet here. I flip the toast, waiting a few minutes and removing it in a plate. I take one half of the toast, taking a bite from it and my mug of coffee in another hand before I open the main door, putting on one of the large pairs of slippers and step outside.
I walk onto the driveway, going in the direction Harry threw the keys last night and looking around in the grass. I never got the chance to actually find the keys because I got... distracted.
I huff in frustration after a few minutes, unable to find the keys but something else catches my eye.
Just outside the driveway, along the side of the road I see one of our tour busses. Why is it parked here?
I slowly walk towards it and see that the door that is facing the large tree on the sidewalk is open, the tree was covering the majority of the bus so I didn't see it at first but it was a tour bus, it couldn't be hidden. I get on it, my heart racing with anticipation of the eeriness of this situation. The whole place is empty with no signs of anything human, I tread forward, looking into the bunks but they are empty as well, I hear some shushed talking coming from the direction of the lounge, which is weird because it is supposed to be soundproof.
My brows furrow in confusion as I get closer to the crack in the sliding door of the lounge, positioning my one eye so I can see through it and find Harry standing straight with his back facing me, his head tilted down to probably look at something. What is he doing?
I look around and see Louis on the left, his cheeks are flushed and his chest is rapidly moving up and down as he paces the few meters from Harry to the window. "Just tell us who it was!" Louis storms to where Harry is standing, him moving to the side so I can see that there is a man sitting on a chair tied up. My eyes widen at the scene, my reflex being pulling out my phone and opening my camera. I take two pictures and then press record, holding the device near my stomach while I looked carefully to what is happening. Louis' fist connects with the man's jaw, who seems to be in his mid-twenties, I couldn't make out any other features because he was covered in blood.
