It's been three days since we came to the safe house.

We haven't left the house, wanting to stay in here for as long as we can so the chaos out in the world will die down. It doesn't matter what the world thinks, they could think we were kidnapped or dead or even faking our deaths like we actually are, what matters is that we have time on our hands now and I plan on using this time to kill Rex Styles.

Knowing Harry since he was little, never have I seen him broken. Even when he was beaten or starved or whatever else Rex used to do with them, Harry always kept his head held high, protecting Kiara like it was all that mattered. Yeah, he is fucked in the head, but so is everyone else.

But for the past three days, I have seen a completely different side of Harry. He has been different since he got closer to Hope, happier, which is good. He needs to get away from his monotonous anger and frustration but the loss of that girl has done something to him that I thought was impossible. The feelings he is expressing just tell me that he is not the antisocial and unempathetic dick that I always thought he was.

"He is losing his mind, I have never seen Harry care about someone this much but this is straight up crazy." Niall sighs, walking into the small living room to take a seat on the couch.

"What is he doing?" I haven't seen him since he last came to talk to me.

"His room is locked but based on the loud music and all the noises, the room must be a mess." Niall runs a hand through his hair, resting his ankle against his knee. I don't understand why Niall isn't devastated with Hope's death, he has known her for years but who am I to ask. I don't think I care enough. I see him sad, zoning out but it isn't remotely close to what Harry is doing.

He has taken all of the alcohol in the house which is fucking inconvenient and has been ruining our sleeps. He has quit eating and I'm convinced he must be clutching his phone waiting for a call from Hope. A call that will never come.

When they kissed in front of me, I was shocked. It showed something more than just sex, Harry doesn't do that. I think he is in love with her which would explain his behavior but it's fucking unfortunate that he lost her just as he began to understand positive feelings.

"We need to do something about him. Soon." I sigh, unsure of what we can do to pull him out of his... grieving? "We got a task. Need to kill someone named Ruby Jills."

"Why the fuck would Lucian do that? We are in hiding." Niall was just as confused as I was when I first found out.

"She is the wife of Zeke's rival gang's leader. Something about revenge but that doesn't matter. I asked around and there is this guy who owes me from Zeke's gang, he told me what is the point of all this." I explain, spending the last three days pulling strings and doing shit with Liam's help since Harry is of no use.

"This doesn't sound good..." Niall anticipates the bad news just by my tone.

"The whole point of this task and getting paid double what he paid us last time is to draw us out. Zeke... or Rex wants to confirm whether or not we are alive. His only goal is to kill Harry now that he knows about his whereabouts and we are just in the crossfire." The whole point of this is to put an end to Zeke and his bullshit and now we had the upper hand because I knew exactly what they were planning on doing.

"We need to somehow make Harry realize that we need to do this. I'm assuming they asked for Harry specifically?" Liam catches onto what I was implying. I could try to cover up for Harry if he doesn't respond at all but that would only mean Lucian getting pissed at him again. I don't think he would get called for every third warning anymore, maybe it would be every time with how foolish he has been.
