I was barely able to sleep after that phone call even though I was extremely tired and my body needed the rest. Harry had returned to bed soon – or what I think was soon because I kept falling in and out of sleep.

Around 6:30am, I gently lifted Harry's arm that was slung over my waist, trying to shift away but in vain. Harry pushed his hand ahead, resting his palm against my ribs and pulling me back against him, letting out a protesting whine.

Fuck.

"I just wanna get some water, baby." I tell him.

"I'll come with you." He mumbles against my shoulder, pressing a soft kiss to it.

This was gonna be hard.

Turning around to face Harry, I press a soft kiss to Harry's lips and then to his cheek, running my fingers through his curls. "Mmm..." Harry cracks a sleepy smile.

"I'll be back soon." I whisper to him, his lips curling into a small frown, eyes still closed. Harry's hand was on my bare back, running up and down in a comforting motion. I love this man so much that it hurts to think of the possibility of anyone harming him, he has spent all these months protecting me, the least I could do was face my liar mother and ensure my love's safety.

"M' coming with..." Harry mumbled.

"It won't take long, you need the rest baby. I bet your body is hurting right now." I plant two more kisses across his cheek. Harry seemed to be persuaded because he loosened his grip around me, giving me a small nod and letting me go.

"I love you..." I whisper to his unconscious self before slipping out of bed.

The first thing I do is grab my blade, phone, and some jeans before going to the washroom and getting ready. Then I tiptoe downstairs, careful not to make any noise as I tie my hair up into a ponytail.

Seeing it was only a few minutes before seven, I stepped out of the safehouse and gently closed the door with fear, anxiousness and anticipation running through me.

I didn't know what to expect from this conversation that my so-called mother was asking for. It felt wrong to leave Harry this way and go, it felt like a betrayal because I knew how much he was gonna panic when he wakes up and doesn't find me next to him. Hopefully, I will be back soon enough to ease him before he kills someone.

It hurts me to not have the ability to give Harry all my time, especially since we got married. We should be off on a fucking honeymoon because we deserve it after all the shit we have been through but instead, we have more problems coming our way.

A black car shows up, stopping right in front of me, windows tinted dark so I couldn't make out the driver.

I cautiously walk towards the car and open the back door, sliding in.

"Where are you taking me?" I ask, taking a peak at the man sitting in the driver's seat. I rest back against the seat when I get no response.

Great.

I rest my head against the cool glass gazing outside and constantly checking for texts from Harry. There were none, which is a good sign.

When we reached a casino, I understood that we were going to Vis. I quietly got dragged to the elevators once I protested about the man touching me and he held a gun to my side.

I get pushed through the familiar white hallways and taken to a room... correct that, office. My mother leaning against the desk, a man standing towards the corner in a crisp grey suit, his face away from me.
