All morning at work, I watch displeased Grace and Lilia confer about what to do with a negligent supplier.
It seems they are about to leave for a meeting, and I'm working half a day today because of the evening event.
Apparently, it's useless to invite them, because both are obviously too busy.
Of course, I can go alone, I will surely enjoy the performance anyway.
But I would like to share my joy with someone else, to have the opportunity to discuss the viewing experience.A feverish whirlwind of thoughts begins to spin in my head.
How did I not think at once?!
I completely forgot about my new acquaintance!
Taking my phone out of my bag, I quickly text Orpheus at the number he shared with me in the coffee house.
The man responds quickly enough and...agrees to go!
I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and my mood immediately improves.
The young professor's company is like a breath of fresh air for me - we still have so much to talk about.
After lunch, I'm going home to clean up before the upcoming event.
There are still quite a lot of clothes in the wardrobe that I didn't wear.
I decide to put on a knee-length sheath dress, a noble navy blue color, with a square neckline and short sleeves.
My attempts to curl my hair, as Grace did, are not crowned with much success, so I decide to pin it, releasing a few wavy strands.
There are still fifteen minutes left, and I go to the kitchen to eat something - who knows when my next meal will be.
My bag is not very roomy, and only an apple fits into it now - however, it's better than nothing anyway.
After checking that everything is in order, I lock the door and go to the bus stop.
I have to leave much earlier in advance, because I don't know my way around the city and I can go in the wrong direction, getting lost.
Surprisingly, I manage to get to the theater quickly and without incidents.
Even more surprising is the fact that Orpheus is already waiting for me nearby.I approach the young professor with a questioning expression on my face.
"I knew you would do your best not to be late, and perhaps you would come much earlier. I had free time, so I decided to keep you company. We have much to talk about," he greets me smilingly.
His last sentence reminds me of the thought I had this morning.
Maybe I'm somehow mistaken, but I can't fight the feeling that it's as if I've known Orpheus my whole life. All the time before we go to the theater, we sit in a cafe nearby and talk about everything.
I'm pleasantly amazed to realize that we don't have any difficulties in communication due to the fact that we grew up under different circumstances.I'm excited and comfortable with Orpheus, I'm sincerely glad he agreed to keep me company, but why then do I keep mentally returning to Aiden, while speaking to him?
The musical feels as if it is the length of one breath.
I'm determined to read the book based on which it's staged, and download the songs I liked, of which there are many.
And, of course, now I want to get acquainted with the entire repertoire of the wonderful theater I was lucky enough to visit today.
