I want to do a huge huge apology due to my sudden long hiatus. Thank you for waiting for me ♡
"No fucking way."
Y/N crosses her arms against her chest. "Fine. It's good to know Haitani Y/N prefers to walk on her short legs for about 10 kilometres to the building of her office." Y/N's about to turn around, but the calmness in his voice makes her do nothing but to stun. "It's okay. I'd like to witness her effort too," Y/N clenches her fists. He makes fun of me. "Oh? Mrs. Haitani?
Have you changed your mind?"
"I hate you." She blurts out, suddenly."
"Hah?" The tall male flips his hair, smirking at her. "I believe I asked another question. You gave me the wrong answer, Mrs. Please try again." Y/N looks over her watch. It's getting late. And if she continues to argue with her own husband, she might arrive at her office...perhaps next month. The argument is infinity. Y/N clicks her tongue in annoyance, forcing herself to walk towards his sports car. Standing next to the passenger's door, Y/N glares at him.
"The fuck are you waiting for?"
He just stares at her. Without words. "Open the door. Now. Unlock." Ran swirls the car key with his long fingers as he walks towards her. "See? It isn't hard to obey your husband." Y/N taps the ground with her feet. "Fake husband you mean." The car is being unlocked, quickly, Y/N slams the door and gets inside. She hates him so much.
Ran follows along, taking a seat on the driver's seat. "Wear the seatbelt, stupid. I don't want to carry a corpse out of this car." Y/N sneers, fighting back. "Then you? I never see you wearing any seatbelts." Y/N talks proudly. "Me and you, we're different. I don't care if I die. But you, you have to live." Y/N begins to frown. Can't deny, sometimes, his words give impacts to her heart.
"Why? Why do I have to live?"
"Isn't it obvious?"
Y/N can't understand.
"You need to find, love and marry other good men, better men. Well— After we get divorce."
Y/N frowns more. She feels like a dumb person. She knows nothing about this. "We're getting divorce?" She tries her best to sound cool and calm. Pretending everything's alright. "Why? Isn't that what you want the most?" She gulps. She never wished for that. Yet— Something feels— "After everything's fine. We'll get divorce. Easy and simple. Good for both of us."
Y/N's eyes move to his hands. One is being wrapped around the steering, the other one is on his lap. Something's missing. "You don't wear the wedding ring." Ran gasps in a "Ah," He looks down on his hand. "But you don't wear it either." He says deeply. "We should wear them," Y/N coughs, pretending to clear her throat. "Because— Isn't it odd for other people to see newlyweds who don't wear their wedding rings?"
Ran hits on the break, causing Y/N to flinch. She quickly turns around, finding the building entrance is up ahead of her. Y/N holds her bag, getting out of the car. She can feel it. Eyes are on her and Ran. "You can go. Thank you." She has to say the last part. At least she has some manners in her. "I'm going to look for an empty VIP parking space." Y/N blinks her eyes rapidly. "What?"
"What?"Ran lenas closer to the steering wheel, saying What in a mocking tone. 'That means— You'll be having a meeting with me, Mrs." Y/N stands there, like a living statue. What? She asks herself again. "If you keep pacing out, people will see you as a living gorilla statue." He rolls the window up, then down again. Leaving the manly woman alone.
