A/N: All words were not written in Italic (to make readers easier to read) because the whole chapter is about the past.

"You again, Ms L/N!"

The principal raised his voice as he slammed both hands on the table. He was controlled by anger. The student sat in front of him while wearing a stoic face expression. Y/N looked up at the old man who had a bald spot in the middle of his head.

"Making a teacher resign, skipping classes, punching a student—- And now smoking in school! Do you think this is a joke?"

Y/N looked down on her fingers, cold fingers. "You have good grades. You are capable in academics and sports. But your manners and all the rules you broke— Do you think the universities will accept you despite your capabilities in academics and sports?!"

Y/N just kept quiet. She said nothing and instead, listened to the principal's yellings. "If you don't take your highschool matters seriously, I'm sorry. But I can't imagine what future you can have. I know you come from a wealthy family. I know your family can buy anything—-"

Y/N stood up as she carried her dark blue bag on her right shoulder. "I know you're mad at me but please. Don't drag my family matter into this."

The old principal stared at her with his eyes in anger. He slammed his hand on the table once again before it went to touch a phone. "Let me call your father and talk with him about this."

He was about to grip on the communication gadget but that was when Y/N snatched it away from him. "My father has nothing to do with this. This is my wrong doing and you can punish me. But that man has nothing to do with this matter."

"Then I'll give the punishment." Y/N placed the phone back as she sat down. "You are banned from entering any basketball tournaments or joining the training for two months straight." Y/N stood up as her jaw dropped.

"What the hell are you talking about? The Winter Cup is only four weeks away!" He didn't  look fascinated.

"It wasn't my problem. It was yours to begin with. You were the one who broke the school rule and this is a punishment."

"You—" She kicked the chair as Y/N grabbed her bag. The more she saw him, the more he pissed her off. Y/N felt like wanting to shave his head even more so he'd be fully bald. Y/N opened the door and slammed it loudly before going home.

She entered the house with anger. Y/N was about to walk up the stairs and lock herself in her bedroom until she died. "I received a call from school just now." His father spoke out.

Y/N felt as if his cold aura was calling her to go to the living room and kneel to apologise. "What kind of problems have you got yourself into again?" Y/N raises another one foot up, ready to escape. "I haven't dismissed you yet, Y/N. Sit."

She gulped on her saliva. She shouldn't
have gone home. Y/N forced her feet to work on walking to the living room. It felt so hard to do. She didn't want to talk about it. Sitting on the sofa, Y/N looked down on the floor.

Of course she didn't want to face her father who was up ahead sitting in front of her. Who would do so, knowing their fathers were going to scold the shit out of them?

"What kind of disappointment have you gotten in?"

Y/N played with her shaky fingers, trying her best to come up with a brave and logical answer. "It wasn't that serious." That was what came across her thought. Knowing it wouldn't be the best, at least there was something to reply with.
