It bothers her all day. Why? Why? Y/N squeezes her head in frustration as she sweeps away materials on her desk. "Y/N-sa—" The voice stops, staring at Y/N's irritated face. Things are all unarranged on the floor, pens everywhere, papers everywhere. Y/N's hair looks stunningly messy, as her lips curl, glaring at the poor man who's holding a file in his hand. "D-Did I—"

"What?" Y/N's voice is strict and clear, causing him to straighten his posture. "It's okay if you want me to—" Y/N growls quietly as she leans her back against the seat, arching her back. "What do you want? Just spit it out." The male understandingly nods, he rushes to the desk with a bow. "The President sent you a message." Y/N groans, trying to predict what that old man's going to command her.

She nods, asking for the continuation. "There's an event tonight. Um, for success—" Y/N sighs loudly, she already gets what he talks about. "Insei Event." Hirota nods as he smiles widely. "Ah, yes! Insei Event." Y/N leans forward, snatching the file from his hand to gain his attention. "You know I despise socialism right?" Hirota begins to sweat. "But Y/N-sa—"

"I don't want to go." She rests on her arms that are being crossed behind her head. Hirota breathes heavily, trying to find other words to encourage her on going. "But, Y/N-san..The President stated, it's a must for you to go!" Y/N starts to lose her patience. "Just go to him and say—" She raises her voice up, Hirota flinches upon it.

"You have to go, Sister~"

Y/N's lips parting when a melodic voice enters the room. "It's rare to see you being outside your painting room." She mutters under her breath, glaring at the younger one as if she wants to devour her. The female spins around the room, hiding her hands at the back. "Anyways, you still have to go to the event~" Eri takes a seat in front of her sister.

"Why are you here?" Y/N's voice is so cold it would make anyone shiver if they hear her.

"Father summoned me." Eri makes a peace sign as she giggles at her sister's face. "That old man summoned two dogs to drag me into the event." Y/N rests her chin on her palm, sighing. "This one is different, Sister. It's important. You just got married to the eldest son of Haitani and you expect father to not introduce you to his acquaintances? Besides, this event is held by his long-time comrade, of course he wants to introduce you and his son-in-law to that man."

"This whole event is about your introduction."

Y/N rolls her eyes in annoyance as she stands up. "Will you be there?" Arguing to not go, it'll just waste her time. "Of course! We'll be wearing nice dresses, jewelleries, makeup, heels—" Y/N frowns as she squints her eyes. "What did you say? Wear—"

"Wear dresses! Makeup, heels—"

"No." Y/N denies. "No." She repeats. "I ain't going to that event, dressing like a total woman—" Eri crosses her arms, making an X sign. "No, you can't! The higher ups, business women and men from all around the world are going to be there! Sister, we're talking about the Insei Event now!"

Ah. The Insei Event. An event being held annually. An event that Y/N always tried to avoid every year. An event where famous and successful business women and men gather from all around the world, in one building. An event where billionaires and millionaires' daughters will be introduced to their sons for marriage. An event where rich people wear nice suits and dresses.

It's really an important event.

"Eri—"

"Please, Sister. For this time, just follow whatever Father wants you to do. Just wear a nice dress tonight, decorate yourself like an expensive figure. For the family and company's reputations. For us." Y/N freezes eye contact with her younger sister for a while before walking past the door frame. "Whatever." That's all she replies and Eri understands it pretty well. Her sister isn't the type of person who says something straightforwardly.
