Chapter 45: Battle Between Pawns

Narrators POV

Kirishima standing in the living room starts to make his way around the dorms. He walks towards his room preparing to get out there and fight. As he almost reaches the elevator, something catches his eye, a little girl peeking out of behind a door looking at Kirishima.

Kirishima: Eri-Chan!

He runs up to Eri and kneels down, checking up on her.

Kirishima: what are you doing here!

Eri: h-he told me t-to stay...

Kirishima: he? Who-? Oh Aizawa Sensei...

Eri gives a slight nod.

Kirishima: well I think you should go with the others...

Eri: b-but what a-about you...?

Kirishima: I'll be fine, but you should go...

He sees her off and he too starts going on his way. He tries using the elevator, but it doesn't work and so he has to use the stairs. Quickly running up the stairs, he makes his way to his room and upon making it he sees his room. A room similarly to cannon with the only exception is being that there's a couple extra things around his room. He walks towards his desk and grabs the stuff in the drawers.

Firstly in the drawer, he grabs a combat knife made from the same stuff as the Doom Blade, strapping it into a sheath he strapped behind his lower back, than grabbing out some bandages. He wraps the bandages around his hands, making sure they're wrapped tightly. In another drawer, he grabs out two green gauntlets from his hero costume and a pair of golden brass knuckles putting them on as they fit on smoothly. He goes to the side of his desk to see a black shelf and he takes a white box off of it and putting it on the floor. He opens it up and takes out a black object, the pistol (the one from Doom 2016), he takes this gun and puts it on the side of his pants. He gets up and starts to search for something, as he has trouble finding where he put it.

Kirishima: fuck! I know it was here somewhere!

He looks around and and behind his bed, he finds a piece of red cloth.

Kirishima: there it is!

He grabs this cloth and wraps it around his head, tightening it real hard.

Kirishima: now I'm ready!

Not wanting for anyone to follow, he goes up to his window unlocking it and opens up his window. He gets on the edge and jumps off from the second floor, when he lands he does a roll and makes it out with only a scratch. Grabbing out his knife, he sneaks out around the back and makes his way to the battle field. As he slowly makes from the right side of the dorms, he stops for a moment to see the battle field.
