"Okay, Pope, you need to cause a distraction out back. Actually, you and JJ can do that together."

"Well, Kie, what would you like us to do?" JJ asked.

"Start a fire."

"A fire? Great Kie, how are we going to do that?" Pope asked.

"Pope, I got it." JJ said, rolling his eyes, "What are you two going to do?"

"Okay, Iris, since you've been here more often than I have, I'm going to get you to go up to Sarah's bedroom. We're going to try and break her out. I'll stand on guard and let you guys know if we need to abort our plan."

Iris sighed, "Okay."

"Alright Pogues, let's do this." Kie said, smiling at them.

Pogue. Iris was a Pogue.

Well, she was still a Kook.

But a Kook-Pogue hybrid.

Iris snuck around the bushes as she got closer to Tanneyhill, and she kept an eye out for Rafe. She did not want to run into him right now. As she thought about it, she probably had tons of texts and calls from him, but she set her phone to do not disturb for that exact fucking reason and now wasn't the time to check.

After some time she finally reached Sarah's room and she gently knocked on the window, as she was sitting inside. Sarah heard and saw her, running to the window with a smile.

"Iris!"

Sarah tried to open the window and failed.

"Shit." Iris muttered as she helped her from the outside, but it didn't work, so she held up John B's wanted poster.

And Sarah's jaw dropped open, eyes filling with tears.

"You in on it?"

"Did you think I was?"

Iris shrugged, "Did you think I was?"

Sarah shook her head, "No."

By this time, JJ and Pope had set their barbecue on fire and were hiding behind a tree. Kie signalled for the boys to leave as Ward and Rose were on their way outside and then Ward called for Sarah, but they had no way of calling Iris. Shit. Meanwhile, Iris and Sarah had their hands pressed up to the either side of the window on top of each other when they heard Ward.

"Go!" Sarah whispered as she ran from the window.

Iris did the same, making her way back down off of the second floor balcony and shuffling along the trees.

Rafe continued to drive around and see if he spotted anything. And there was nothing yet. No signs of John B, or Iris, for that matter. That was, until he turned onto Kelce's street and saw police cars and people everywhere.
